Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumWe shared a building with our neighbor ( it was converted in two separate houses) but we could hear everything the said or did inside, which was pretty annoying late at night when you are trying to sleep Would also have liked to know before hand that you have to wear a swimming cap in the pool, i did not see that information on the website of booking.com and for our short stay we found it crazy to pay the rather expensive fee to buy one at the pool itself
Very close to the tower of pisa and very close to the train station so it was easy to travel around, the accommodation was clean, staff was nice and we were able to check in early

United KingdomDuring our stay, there was on and off internet connection in the room, which is not great when you need to book tickets, the next accommodation etc. I can safely say that one might need to go to the reception to have internet accessibility, at least this is what we were told. There were system issues but the staff did not acknowledge it. We arrived at the camping at 5 am the next morning and we were asked to wait for the electrician to turn the lights on. We could do without that after our long road trip.
Lovely camping with trees all around the little caravan houses. Washing machine and tumble dryer are available at extra costs. Great location very close to Pisa tower and the city centre. Outdoor kitchen was a nice addition as you could prepare your lunch and sit and enjoy it during the day or night. Having your morning coffee out in the quiet nature was a pleasure. Being able to park your car outside your cabin for free was so convenient.

IrelandAs our accomodation was half the carvan we didnt get much sleep for 2 of our three nights as the guests in the other half were loud and played music until very late and then were up before 5 I suppose to catch flights. Everytime they moved around it was like an earthquake. The outdoor play area wasnt very pleasant and the sand on the ground was dirty and had ciggarete ends in.
Location was good within walking distance of town and not too far from airport. Staff were helpful and friendly especially the lady in small supermarket. The accomodation was actually half a caravan with a kitchen outside. Whilst it was clean and the beds were comfortable it was really too small especially the shower cubicle Swimming pool was lovely for my grandson with 2 childrens areas. Food and service in the ristorante was excellent and the price was reasonable.

HungaryThe walls were quite thin, we heard the neighbours.
I'm glad that the room is well equipped and the camping is barely near to the Torre Pendente on foot (12min). The facility also had swimming pool, bar, public bathrooms, restaurant, shop, playground. Perfect value for money.

GermanyThe toilet (WC) was not properly secured to the floor, which caused discomfort. They provided only one roll of low-quality toilet paper per night, which was insufficient for four people. Additionally, the water took several minutes to warm up for showering. It gets significantly cold inside the mobile home at night, so be cautious if you're considering booking during the winter months. However, the accommodation does have AC with both cooling and heating functionalities (we didn't use it).
We had our own mobile house and enjoyed some good privacy. The kitchenette had adequate utensils and dinnerware. Thanks to its proximity to Pisa S. Rossore station, we were able to travel from Pisa Centrale by train when the local bus service stopped after 9 PM. Upon our request, they accommodated us with a check-in time that was more convenient. Many thanks to the staff for their flexibility. At check-in, they also gave us a nice map of the city, highlighting tourist routes and shopping zones, which was very helpful.

NetherlandsWe booked the cheapest rooms: small, but everything is there. Outside cooking is perfect, the shower nice and hot, but: it is so small inside, that you can only sit outside, where there are hundreds of musquito’s.
Very close to the city, nice campsite with all facilities

United KingdomUnfortunately when I visited the WiFi was down the whole time, but when I asked it seems this was an issue across Pisa/the local area. There were some issues with the lights/TV not working so well but they did come and fix when I asked. The pool was not in use when I was there. There is quite a bit to clean on leaving and a 'charge' if you don't do it properly. It's likely better value for money if you're staying with a few people. The underpass to get to the city is not the nicest and cannot be avoided.
I stayed in one of the triple room huts. I liked the size, mini kitchen with gas cooker. The shower was great. Mosquito nets on windows very helpful. Staff always being available on the desk and helpful. It was very quiet too. Lots of space outside for sitting/drying items. I didn't use clothes washing facilities but useful to have access to.

United KingdomOnly the things when we arrive they ask my passport and they want to keep my passport for a while which I don't want it I just say happy to wait here till you finish But seems they don't like that It happens to me ones in an other hotel Reception keep my passport and then when I went to collect it they say we gave it to you Finally they find my passport at that day but it was very stressful time till they found That's why never prefer to give my passport for a while to hotel people,I prefer them to take a copy and gave me back my passport Any way something very private This is how it needs to be Also for a while planing to not visit Italy Because of that city tax issue Very high compare of other countries Also planing to write that some other places to get main people attention about it. In front of the window I saw some funny things don't know what it is Hope camping people will see and deal with it
This place is very nice especially perfect for old people, families and people with pets and kids You will get your own kitchen, small fridge, patio with table and chairs, good condition cooking equipment only the problem is no towel for bathroom You need to have your own or pay extra for it They have pool and cafe too Near to Leaning Tower (15min by walk) But consider passing kind of open subway Not enjoyable way to walk, that's the second thing about that property, people with car perfect place

United KingdomTo walk into pisa you walk down the road and through an underpass which can be a little scary at night but we survived 😂
Very close to all attractions and the camp has a cafe bar next to the swimming pool that makes lovely toasties. There is a small shop on camp and a large supermarket just up the road. It is basic accommodation but fun

United KingdomA bit disappointing that the swimming pool wasn't open for use. I understand it being seasonal but 20c plus temperatures meant we missed the chance to cool down at the pool, and we would most likely would've spent more at the poolside bar.
Location is great. It's a nice quiet spot. All cooking equipment was provided to make self catering easy. Shower was good. On site restaurant was delicious.

NetherlandsThe tiles from the terrace at our mobile home were not all straight and a little loose in some cases. For our small son (1,5yrs) this was not easy to walk on.
The mobile home was clean, comfortable and had all the necessary equipment for a couple of days. Within 15 minutes you walk to the centre of Pisa. The pool and bar were nice and clean, also the restaurant had a decent card to choose from.

PolandVery thin walls, could hear the neighbours talking in the next house. There was only one heater in the whole house, which didn't work too well even set on the highest performance, hence it was a bit cold. During the rain, it was the terrace roof was leaking a bit, as well as the roof in the toilet.
It was clean, modern, and well-equipped. The workers were genuinely nice and helpful. Excellent value for the low price. Close to the Tower, a bit further to the train station.

United KingdomThe smaller, more basic room we originally booked was much smaller than we had imagined and in need of some attention. As stated previously, we had a word with Reception and although there was no alternative unit for that first night, they were able to offer us something better for the remaining two nights of our stay. The Reception Team were all very polite and courteous.
The location is very good. Just a short stroll to the local Pisa S Rossore train station from which we were able to travel to both Lucca and Florence. There’s also a large supermarket further on past the train tracks, and the Leaning Tower, Cathedral, shops and restaurants are a bit further on from there. We were upgraded to a two bed “chalet” by the very helpful reception staff after we encountered some issues with our original room. I would highly recommend booking one of the larger units with indoor kitchen facilities if you are staying for more than one night as there was much more space for airing off damp towels and coats etc.
