Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThought the fact its in a lovely setting that they could have tidied the beach areas a bit as it had its own beaches but the larger one was very scruffy and the sea was lovely for a swim.
We didn't try the Restaurant but the bar and pastries were lovely as was the setting and the staff. The rooms were Big and comfy.

AustraliaUnfortunately, we weren't made aware that there was no toilet paper supplied in the public toilets. Also, there was no hand wash at the public toilet sinks.
Very nice camping hut very close to the water and in a great location.

United KingdomNo toilet roll in the toilets or soap dispensers at the hand wash. Presumably this is normal for campsites in Sardinia(?) as we didn’t get an advance warning of this, but luckily we had some of our own supplies. The only other downside was that our room was meant to be a double bed but we actually had two singles pushed together - which would have been fine if the mattresses were the same height and the beds didn’t slide apart during the night! Not the end of the world but made for a less comfortable sleep than I’d hoped for.
Very easy check-in process and friendly/efficient staff. Location convenient for exploring the local coastline - the site itself is on the waterfront - as was our little hut - and had lovely views which was great. Nice family atmosphere also :)

United KingdomI was staying first night. Two men were having a fighting at the place in the morning at 3 am. They were hitting each other. Broken the table and glasses as well. I was so frightened and I felt a bit insecure at the place. The police came after half an hour. The people around the camp trying the stop them however the men were pushing each other. It was nightmare first night. After that we haven’t had any incident so I had pretty quite nights.
I like the place is closed centre where so I just walk around. The area is surrounded with the trees which I love it. Facilities are quite good.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaIt is my first camp, so I've felt a bit cramped in our tiny tuk and 2,5 meters from neighbours.
It is in walking distance of Palau. Near a realy nice beach and even a forest.

GermanyWe had a Tukul at a beautiful spot, right at the water. It is very basic: you have a bed and a clothes rail, one electrical outlet, a table and chairs for outside, that's it, but we liked it. The campsite has a bar and a little store and is a 15-20 min walk from the ferry port.

This place is perfect for those who love nature without too much fads. Bungalows are situated right on the sea side, with some very picturesque stones you meet everywhere in the water, in the restaurant. Rooms are small and simple but the price also, clean and comfortable beds, cosy restaurant inside the camping with attractive prices but good quality, very nice and amiable people. And last but not the least, camping is situated in a pine forrest, wich is a true blessing in the hot days of summer. One more thing for families: you have a significant area of shallow waters where kids can swim without too much worryies.

SlovakiaPrice for a tap water doesn't really make it great alternative to water in plastic bottles.
Location is amazing, it's secluded and very quiet with no strangers wandering around. Plys there are nice beaches just around the camp for swimming and snorkeling. Tukuls are great, they are cosy and offer just enough space for a comfy stay. Friendly and helpful staff, amazing coffe in the bar and wonderful croissants. Definitely a place to stay.

DenmarkFacilities were disappointing. No toilet paper or soap at any of the toilets and the restrooms/baths near our bungalow were really bad. The main restroom/bathing area of the camp was better, but still not as expected.
Location was good - it is near Palau city center and is located next to the sea. Staff was friendly.

BelgiumVery unclean camping, strong and bad odors everywhere. The Tuluk we stayed in had a small window smaller than an A4 sheet of paper. Because of that it was too hot inside and impossible to sleep so we slept in our car. Very unpleasant smell inside and even though 15EUR of cleaning fee is automatically added to the amount to pay, the Tuluk was nasty. Dust everywhere and spiderwebs at every corner. Why make us pay 15EUR of cleaning fee if you dint see the difference between being inside or outside of the Tuluk. All in all th eworst experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Palau is very nice and the forest in which the camping is nice. However the cleanliness and the staff of the camping are the worst. I have never been disrespected in the way I experienced at this camping. It was the worst experience of my life and the worst period of my stay in Sardinia.

Czech RepublicComfortable and clean with all necessary facilities, washing machine, caffee bar, restaurant and minimarket. There was a couple of nice beaches nearby and one in the camp. We appreciated bins for separating waste and the camp's focus on protecting environment. We stayed for 5 nights, it was a perfect location to make trips to La Maddalena and Arzachena archeologic area.

AustraliaHaving electric kettle and fan in the bungalow would be really helpful as there was no aircon and it was very hot inside. Tukul was very stinky and hot with poor ventilation and no fan available. Having an option to hire a fan would be great. Not much privacy as there are neighbours next.
Great location, 15 mins walk to the Palau port. Amazing staff, Elena was very approachable and helpful, tried her best to accommodate every request. Pizzeria, Market, coffee shop within the camping area. Free parking. Bungalow was renovated and clean, well equipped.
