Great location by the bridge between Syracuse and Ortigia. Wonderful host Anna who really looked after us. Breakfast was great as was our room. We were able to find free on street parking for the duration of our stay.

We loved our stay at Califatari! Anna was a wonderful host who made great restaurant recommendations and served a beautiful breakfast. The location of the inn is perfect- right over the bridge from Ortigia and easy walking distance to sites, restaurants and shops. Our room was sparkling clean and quiet and the a/c was strong enough to battle the intense Sicilian heat. The only tricky part was finding a place to park our rental car but we messaged with Anna before arriving and she helped us figure it out. Highly recommend!

The common area leads to the place. It definitely needs renovation. This will make everything super.

Everything was perfect!

The location is perfect for walking into Ortigia. A lovely coffee,cake and gelato shop right opposite. Room really clean and spacious. Freshly prepared breakfast every morning served in the little dining area.Anna the host could not have done more for us. We had to leave early and she arranged an early breakfast at 7am and then she even packed some up for our journey.

There is no elevator, so you need to be OK with hauling your luggage up one flight of stairs. That said, Anna and her husband are there to assist, if needed.

Anna, the host, was outstanding. This is her family home and she was born here. Location is excellent, right at the bridge. Breakfast was awesome each day. There is only one room, so if you are lucky enough to have it show as available for your dates, book it. This is the best B&B in all of our travels worldwide.

Everything. We stayed at the B&B 3 nights. The host was amazing: kind and careful we had everything to enjoy our stay. Delicious breakfasts, great location at the entrance of Ortigia, nearby public parking spaces. Very recommended.

Parking is tricky - worth getting there reasonably early if driving by car. Towels and pillows could have been nicer.

Very conveniently located within walking distance of Ortigia and also walkable to the Greek old city and theatres. Nice big room in a relatively quiet spot despite closeness to main road. Great breakfast with fresh Sicilian orange juice and pastries.

It was difficult to find parking space at late evening, but host warned about that and helped with some tips.

In this place everything was high level. The room was very clean and comfortable. Host gave us where most of the destinations in the city are located. Breakfast was nice and all products were fresh and tasty. The host made us feel welcome.
