It did not bother us much, but someone with different expectations should be ready for a little bit of laissez-faire in minor details. For example, the kitchen ventilator did not work and the fridge was rusty outside, the living room cabinet was tilting, and the toilet seats downstairs were not attached. There had been a blackout recently so it took some days to get the internet working, and the spare gate remote did not function. It is hard to understand from the pictures that one of the rooms downstairs with bunk beds is a walk-through. But these were all minor details and should not interfere with the holiday mood.

This is a nice villa in a good location. Our group of 3 families enjoyed outside areas the most-- there is a large terrace for dinners and a separate barbecue area -- under the palm trees and room for kids to run around. The complex has a super nice (private?) beach a couple of hundred of meters away. The rooms were nice, too, and had well-working A/Cs and comfy mattresses. There are dishes and kitchen utensils for cooking. The host was very quick and pleasant to interact with. So overall a pleasant experience.

All in all - great value for the money, great location. Perfect for big companies

The villa exudes dampness. This is due to the climate of course, but also, because couple of rooms are on the basement floor. However, you have conditioner in each room. So it can be kind of fixed. There is a bit wear and tear here and there, but for now, nothing really serious.

Willa has a great location. It is situated in the closed cottage village. All the facilities are in place: washing machine, dishwasher, enough utensils and plates for all 12 people. There was a very easy contact with the host. He would reply within couple of minutes in messenger, if anything was needed. There is beach 5 mins away by feet, however, it's very rocky and do not recommend it for families with kids. Alternatively there is perfect beach in Cefalu (10 mins away by car). Also, all the stores, restaurants and bars and sightseeing is in Cefalu. So you definitely need a car to get around.

One of the most unpleasant experience I've ever had

I've never given a bad review on Booking. Many of the place I stay are personally owned and I see how hard these owners work to make your stay great. But this was such a bad experience I had to share. 1. This is not a 6 bedroom. It is a 5 bedroom with a bunk beds in a common area. 2. Bottom floor smelled a bit moldy as it sub terrain. But is was just cleaned and so I figured I'd give it some time. 3. But the worst part? The house electrical supply can not handle the load of the air conditioners. Being in Sicily in July the temps have been 100-115 degrees. They actually showed us the circuit breaker which was at the end of the block in case "something happen", so obviously this has happen before. Once we were in the house the power continued to trip. Natale, who was our contact and checked us in could not have been less helpful. This was our exact exchange on what's app... ME: The bottom floor is moldy and the power continues to trip. NATALE: For power, it is not possible to use all air conditioners at the same time because the meter does not allow. The floor was cleaned today. Can I have a picture? ME: How are we supposed to sleep at night? If we can’t have all of the AC is on? You can come smell the room. NATALE: Since it is a house, according to the regulations there is a limited meter that does not allow all the air conditioners to be used at the same time. ME: Ok, so we need to sleep in the heat? NATALE: You don't have to sleep in the heat, but this is the norm in the residence hall. Try alternating the use ME: OK so you want me to wake up every few hours and turn the AC on? NATALE: I have explained to you, these are the rules of residence. I am trying to help you and explain. If you are not comfortable and have discomfort, you are free to decide whether to stay or not, ME: Can you refund please. Thank you. NATALE: For these problems you must contact the booking host The worst experience I've ever had traveling.
