How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The shower was difficult to use - the water was switching from very cold to boiling, no matter the temperature chosen.

Location wasn’t the best, taxi a must.
Self service check in, our flight was delayed and we arrived at 2am but check was easy.

Check-in when reception is closed is tricky. You use a machine, our codes were wrong, some other people received a card that won't open the room. There is a number to call if this happens.
Next to the airport of Pisa. Convenient location when travelling or arriving late at the airport.

Location is not the best as the bus does not run late into the night. The air conditioning kept turning off so the room was really warm. No extra pillow when I requested one as the hotel was full so no spares.
Lovely clean hotel with great staff and was a great price. The lady happily kept our bags as we arrived early and showed us where we could change. The room was large and so happy I got the balcony as the weather was amazing. The room had a safe and fridge, so you could store drinks.

They only provided one towel, even though we were two people. The neighborhood looks very rural, as It’s 40 minutes by bus to the Tower of Pisa, and 20 minutes by bus to the train station, which was not a problem for us, but can be to someone who wants a place more close to the center.
Very close to the bus station, the room is big and very comfortable. The breakfast is also good. It’s 20 minutes by bus to the train station, so it’s possible to make a day trip to Florence.

Location: very close to airport and to the city exit to the main highways, although not places to eat aroynd hotel. Room: very clean, with modern appliances and confortable. Staff: very nice and healpful. I will definively come back if in transit in Pisa.

A bit too noisy, it's located next to a busy roundabout. Having a room next to the elevator/stairs, we could hear lots of noises from other travellers. It seems the breakfast is the same in all B&B hotels, with limited veggie options.
Comfy beds, fridge in the room, spacious room. Free parking and easy access when traveling by car.

Beds could definitely be more comfortable and a kettle in the room would make all the difference after a day sightseeing

Weak public transport from the airport to the hotel, especially after 10pm. Only available option is a taxi (€20 for a short journey). We arrived in the middle of a taxi strike, so we needed to wait an hour to get a taxi.
Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Great value for the money. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

After having shower, ilthe bathroom was flooded. You have towel for floor, but it is not enough. I seem it very dangerous, as there is no drainage, and the water stays there whole time, you can slide. Also no ventilation in the room, the windows was completely wet after night - water was leaking in the room, it was horrible.
Good bed, a lot of parking Space. Just behind the hotel is small pizza resto, nothing special, but nice and cheep pizza.

Bed was not comfortable, booked a king-size room, but the actual bed was made with twin bed. So when you sleep, it starts splitting from the middle.

Although it was easy to do the auto check-in I felt it was a longer process than it needed to be especially at midnight and it took a lot of fiddling about with key card to open the door to the room. Also I gave a low score for facilities and how comfortable as the air con would only stay on for 5 minutes at a time so had a very uncomfortable night and there is no one at that time to speak to.
The room was lovely and clean. Great selection for breakfast.
