We were lucky to be staying there by ourselves most nights, but when there are other guests, it can be a little noisy.

Beautiful setting and a great location to explore central Italy from. The staff were wonderful and the food delicious! We had such a relaxing trip, which was exactly what we were looking for.

    The water is not potable.

A great find located just off the Camino of St. Francis. The room was clean, we enjoyed using the pool, the staff was helpful, and a nice breakfast was served. We also ate dinner there, which is 25 Euro for a fixed plate, and the first-course pasta was the best one we've had in Italy in the last three weeks.

The shower head in our bathroom was terrible. It wouldn’t stay at the right angle and the head was broken. This is a very hard water area & plumbing clogs really easily but a cheap new head now & then would really make a difference. I was surprised that the cleaning staff hadn’t noticed, so maybe it had only just happened. Breakfast is not for diabetics; Italians eat sweet things for breakfast and I’m all for the “when in Rome” approach but a little less cake and even just a standard cornetto would make it more accessible to other European tastes. Don’t get me wrong, I hate it when tourists whine that “it’s not like home” but I really did leave the table with a blood sugar surge that took ages to wear off. However, the staff are so obliging, I’m sure that a request for alternatives would be accommodated.

In a beautiful, tranquil & secluded location, Santa Giusta will afford you a great night’s sleep (fellow guests’ behaviours are always a lottery) in a big, comfy bed. The restaurant menu was fixed but delicious and (too) plentiful; the very welcoming and friendly staff couldn’t do enough to help make everyone’s stay just right. There are plenty of spots around the lovely grounds with seating for a pleasant al fresco drink. Parking is freely available.

Noisy. People outside were talking loudly late, and people coming and going from their rooms were loud. I'd have preferred an earlier breakfast so I could continue my pilgrimage sooner.

Historic feel to house, room decor, and a wonderfully warm host.

Only very slight negative was the very hard bed. Everything else superb.

What a magnificent property in a magnificent location. The owners/staff were welcoming, warm, helpful and everything was so professional. One of the best dinners we’ve had in Italy in the lovely dining room and wonderful service. Our room was full of character but also very comfortable.

The location is outside of town and a bit of a ways off the road into town. We are walking the Way of San Francesco so it added a few minutes of time to our journey but not bad. It does seem to be where Sandy Brown’s guide starts and finishes this stage, though.

Lovely staff and very nice breakfast. We chose to have their set dinner. It was 25€/person, which was a good value for the complete meal that was served. We had a pasta dish, meat with vegetable, dessert, and after dinner coffee or liqueur included in the price. Breakfast included homemade sweets and yogurt. We did not leave hungry!

Beautiful location - had dinner outside to the sound of crickets. The food was delicious and the staff really lovely. One of the nicest locations for a swimming pool too - surrounded by hills and olive groves. Genuinely enjoyed our stay from the food to the hospitality to the great night’s sleep. Complimenti to the lovely family running this B&B. Would love to return!

Breakfast was supposed to be included. We were given breakfast vouchers where we had to have our breakfast at the bar. In exchange for the voucher, we were given a cup of coffee and the balance of 50cenrs towards a croissant. So basically, we got a cup of coffee. It is not older people friendly. My sister in law and I wanted twin / single beds. The option was either to share the double bed or climb up or down another flight of stairs during the night to go to the toilet. That would not be safe for us 66 and 71 years old.

Since I was early in the season the room was very cold. The room was very basic and I thought vastly over priced for what it offered.

The facility was a farm in a rural setting. The host was very nice and accommodating. The dinner was good.
