Everything about the apartment was great. The apartment was spacious and bright. The furniture and bedding were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. There was an AC. The host went out of his way to be helpful.

Magic! By far the nicest apartment we stayed in in all of Croatia! And what luxury: Mario is waiting for us to let us into the car park where he leaves us the badge for the stay; then he accompanies us to the accommodation and there....a delight! In a house with thousand-year-old walls, the charm of the old (the beams on the ceiling) and all the modern comforts combine for an incredible experience! It's very practical, extremely clean, and so peaceful! communication was very easy, Mario is very responsive and available Many thanks to Mario and his adorable mother!

Studio Makala is perfect - fantastic location in a quiet street in the Old Town , it's modern , spacious , well designed , has good quality furniture and kitchen equipment. Extremely helpful and nice owner.

Absolutely nothing.

Mario met us and helped us with our luggage and gave us a warm and informative welcome which was especially nice after our long journey from California. The apartment is very well situated in a quiet alley/street in the heart of Trogir. Very nicely furnished and equipped. The apartment is in an approx. 1000 year old building and has been updated internally to retain it's historical charm. Trogir itself is quite magical! Mario and his mom met us on our departure and again helped us with our luggage. Superb and efficient hosts and we could not be happier. Just wished we had stayed longer!

Perfect location with everything you need plus more .. But the host made the stay Mario and his mum - Mario picked us up at the airport, gave us directions for the ferry to split, helped with the luggage. Then we were treated with coffee and biscuits from his mum. Beautiful people

Everything was fine!

The apartment was located in a very good location. The market, the port, shops and restaurants were also close by! In comparison, it was quiet and suitable for relaxation. The apartment was well equipped and met all our needs. The pictures uploaded to the site speak for themselves! The host and his mother were very kind to us! We spent a wonderful week in Trogir!

Mario was an absolutely outstanding and kind host. He was corresponding with us in advance, was waiting for us and helped parking and took us to the apartment. His made sure we feel most comfortable upon our arrival. He was immediately responding to all our questions. His mother was waiting for us with a local coffee on our arrival. The apartment is in the best possible location, cute and comfortable and practical and very stylish with simplicity, clean and served our comfort with all little details. We are very thankful for Mario and his mother for hosting us.

There was nothing to not like about this place!

Everything about this place was excellent. Beautiful property with amazing hosts who looked after us wonderfully. Loved our stay here and would recommend highly to everyone. It also had the most lovely little patio seating area. The bed was also really comfortable! Would definitely stay here again, wouldn't even bother to look elsewhere.

Everything! Hosts Mario and his mother are so friendly, and will assist you in everything. Highly appreciable and included, the provided access to a parking place 5mn by foot, with Mario's card (Not Mario's kart, sorry couldn't resist 🤣). And the small table just for you, just off the street, like your own terrace in Trogir, I doubt you can find anywhere else. The studio is big, it's like two rooms. Huge bed, great windows for quietness. Perfect bathroom, well working shower-not always the case in Croatia-and not tiny. Of course it is on the 2nd floor - 3rd for Americans - with no lift/elevator. That goes with the charm. If you want an elevator like one comment complains, just go to Tito's hotel in Primosten! Mario's house is more than 1000 yrs old! The studio is very finely decorated modern and antique at same time. Equipped kitchen. Reasonably priced. I think we were just very lucky and by sheer luck reserved Trogir's absolu best Appartman.

We didn’t like leaving it after our 4 night stay! No lift to second floor apartment so might not suit a person with poor mobility.

Very pretty, light, well planned studio apartment. it has everything you need for your stay and the owners are delightful and welcoming. The apartment has good storage, comfy fittings, pleasant lighting, functional small kitchen.

Loved my little apartment ❤️. It was the best place in all my travels. Owner and her son were so awesome ! Left me some beer and water for me in fridge which was much appreciated ! Offered to wash my clothes and made me coffee with cookies! I loved loved the seating area outside! I could have sat there all day and watched people go by! Trogir and this beautiful home are forever in my heart ❤️

Mario is an absolute champion, he cannot do enough for you. Not to forget his beautiful mum, she made us the best Turkish coffee and a plate of fresh cherries. The apartment is amazing, very easy to find and in a fantastic location in the old city. Don't think twice about this gem, just book it!
