Brilliant Hotel and staff were very professional and helpful. I originally booked one night and ended up staying longer. The facilities are superb, the gym has enough equipment for a solid workout and the pool has a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna to relax in afterwards. The restaurant has such a pleasant atmosphere and the food is very good. I would highly recommend here to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas as I did or even just as a getaway with nice surroundings. The only downside was my room felt a little outdated, but was super comfy and clean. Would highly recommend and I'm sure I'll be back soon.

Waiter at breakfast had a bad attitude, and very rude. When asked for the breakfast order "I cant write everything down at once!" no smiles, no welcome etc. Needs staff training! It spoilt the breakfast experience.

Shower was scalding hot and I couldn't use it but had a bath instead.

Swimming pool was a great addition and open until 8pm so I enjoyed an evening dip.

The corridor areas were cold but not a problem. The bed sheet was just placed on top of the mattress and not tucked in so the mattress was exposed - which was a little strange.

A comfortable room, great leisure facilities and a lovely evening meal was had.

Heating was full on in the bedroom which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep in but only a minor issue

Location was perfect - 15 minutes into Keswick Plenty of parking Excellent leisure facilities - pool, sauna and jacuzzi (steam room didn’t appear to be working during our stay) towels available for use Reception staff were lovely Lovely clean room and bathroom - comfy bed , choice of pillows

Bad smell in the bathroom in second room we booked - did not complain as we're just staying overnight. Restaurant at the night had definitely not enough staff, they were "running" around to serve, however they were managing... just. Breakfast not have much option for vegetarian.

Sauna, stem room, jacuzzi and swimming pool - clean and accurate size for the amount of visitors, open from 7am till 8pm. My room was clean, nice and cosy. Garden around looked very nice. Staff was nice, receptionist always available. Price with discount was definitely worth paying.

Very limited food options in the hotel and other options are not very accessible or nearby (that we could find anyway). We did eat at the bar in the hotel for dinner and it was the only letdown of our stay as we didn’t particularly enjoy the food we ordered and the portions were quite small so we did still feel quite hungry going to bed. We skipped breakfast as we didn’t want to eat there in the morning again if we didn’t enjoy it and found it really difficult to find any nearby restaurants that were open - we ended up stopping off at a nearby garage and picking up some breakfast snacks for the rest of our journey.

Great location and facilities (pool, gym, tennis courts outside). We would easily come back again and are planning to next year! Easy access to Lake District tourist spots from the hotel via car which is how we got there. The view from our room was beautiful - especially at night where we had the full moon glowing through the window and views of the gardens outside the back. Really friendly and accommodating staff who helped us with any questions we had. The room itself was really clean and cosy, perfect for our short stay over as a couple.

Had a starter at dinner of game terrine.I got the impression it had not long been out of the freezer and had no flavour.My main course however was excellent

It wasn't clear that we needed to use the room sign to indicate if we wanted the rooms to be cleaned. But they provided fresh towels for my sister's room when requested. This hotel isn't ideal for anyone who wants to be in a town and close to shops etc. For us it was fine as we were driving to various different places each day and happy to have dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Great hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was very modern. We loved the pool and spa facilities (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi) which were included. There's also a small gym included. Breakfast was great - there was a choice of cooked breakfasts plus additional buffet options. They had gluten free bread and alternative milks which was useful for some of us. We also had dinner at the restaurant twice and the food was delicious.
