Unfortunately on this occasion we were given room number 1 and we felt that it was too close to the entrance. We were made aware,on arrival, that there was an 18th birthday celebration that night and we were disturbed as guests were leaving the party we could here groups outside the window and shouting and running down the corridors in the early hours of the morning. We feel that in a different room we would not have heard this commotion. We reported this when checking out.

Needs a little love and affection!

Just used this hotel as a stopover on our way through Manchester. Was just outside of Manchester so handy location, as every hotel in Manchester just seems to charge an arm and a leg. This place was reasonable but to be honest needs a little bit of TLC. The bathroom and room was a good size, comfortable bed & working TV plus heating. But just felt the rooms needed a lick of paint & the bathroom to be fair. For the price I couldn’t complain, it was reasonable and somewhere to stay but wasn’t anything too spectacular. Free parking was a plus. And staff were super friendly!

Bathroom facilities were a bit run down. All operational but toilet flush button, taps and toulet roll holder all need replacing.

Front doors on the rooms need renewed ,lots of marks on them ..shower unit loose .function was on and very noisy outside our bedroom till 1am ..difficult to sleep ..Should have been told before we booked .

TV wasn’t /wouldn’t tune stations….so no point being available. Hot Water took long time to run through plumbing. Sink plug didn’t secure preventing water hold in sink.

Quiet Accommodation, Nice setting, Easy access from new road access from Motorway. Quality Curtains, clean room. Good Value Breakfast is well lit and decorated dining room. Staff very welcoming.

Quite a nice surprise, a relatively large hotel with decent rooms, good location and overall a really nice stay. I was staying for work so the facilities were fine, breakfast was good and room was good too.

Was asked at reception for my credit card number and the 3 digit code when I had already paid in full. I didn’t give staff this as it is a breach of security on my card . Staff took offence and had a bad attitude. This was not what I was looking for on check in and was told it was in case of damage. I found this disrespectful and would not stay here again . I don’t mind giving my sixteen digit code on a chip reader but not my full details to a receptionist. This is Illegal as far as I am am concerned.

General condition (slightly run down).

Breakfast (full english) slightly smaller than most, but very cheap when included in room price and OK. Room, like much of hotel, a slightly run down; could do with some refurbishment. Beds (2 singles, as requested, slightly small, but comfortable. Setting pleasant with small garden and fountain. Also convenient - close to motorway junction and (small) town.

The bathroom was a little tired, which gave it a feeling of not being clean (although I'm sure it was). Also, the lock on my room didn't work from the outside, so i had to leave my room unlocked whilst I ate, which was a little disconcerting.

The lady on reception was lovely, very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The room was a good size, and quite comfortable. The food was of a good standard and really tasty. It's an excellent position to the motorway too.
