The room was definitely small, only really for sleeping and showering. But if you need somewhere comfortable to sit the coffee bar downstairs is good.

Staff were really friendly, the coffee area downstairs was great. Location is amazing, loads of transport links right outside. Generally good value for a London Hotel.

Tiny room as expected in a city centre hotel but excellent quality of fixtures and fittings. It makes a real difference not having to deal with broken sinks or grimy showers.

We found the room too hot and air con lowest setting was 18. Upper mattress (family room) had roll together so was not comfortable. Very hard to get to tea/coffee area - hit head on stairs several times. Would have been better near shower wall then could double up as desk. Ideal for a night, would struggle to stay longer than 2.

Breakfast was lovely, hotel staff very friendly. Free cheese & wine event the night before was a lovely surprise. Large shower, nice toiletries. Clean room with fluffy towels. Two very large TVs and good range of free hot drinks, bottled water on hospitality tray. Great location, 2 mins from station.

On second visit here, I was given a room in the basement, lower level. I didn’t like as much. It smells, almost sewer smell, and you hear the underground trains. Get a room in higher level. Most rooms don’t have windows.

Having booked several queen rooms with a window, we were disappointed that one of the rooms had a massive steel pillar running through it, massively reducing the amount of space compared to the others. The person staying in this room, was staying for several nights versus the rest of the team and the window was tiny in comparison to the others meaning no natural light. I would've expected this room to be much cheaper. We understand the sound of the underground but the rooms aren't well sound insulated so we were kept up throughout the night hearing people in other rooms.

The glasses, the water bottle and the kettle were dirty.

It is very close to the city center. It has good and close underground and bus connection. The room was small, but it fitted all our needs. Even if we booked a room without a window they gave us a key for one with a window which was a nice thing. The room was new, modern, minimalistic. It has enough storage space in the bathroom. Some things to take into consideration are, even if they did not bother us too much, if you want privacy there is none - they say that rooms are soundproof but they are very close to each other so you hear every noise. Also, the shower is in the room with glass walls and it is 50% seethrough. So you can see and hear everything. Also, you can feel the vibration and the noise coming from the undergoung because it is pretty close. I am not a light sleeper so it was ok for me. They provide free wifi, free toiletries, a water of botle per day, coffee/tea/milk/hot chocolate.

Room was noisy with tube trains below the hotel, even though it was above ground. Surrounding rooms noisy as well, particularly plumbing. Also lights by the door illuminate the room at night, perpaps it was a fire alarm.

Location was good. Staff welcoming. Felt like my safe space whilst I was there in the bustle of old street.

Perfect hotel for family stay with the bunk beds, restaurant in the lobby (cheese and wine night was so nice!). Staff was nice and neighborhood is perfect, close to tube station, loads of buses!

This hotel was so ideally situated for what I was looking for. As I was only staying one night, the size of the room worked. If I were staying for a week, it might have been too small. There was a happy hour on the day I arrive, which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good. I got there close to the end so there was not much left, but it was still good value for $$.

We booked a late check out as we were at a rave the night before however, this wasn't communicated to cleaning staff so we were woken up early by staff trying to come in and ask us to check out. This kind of did defeat the point of having a late check out as it woke us up and we weren't really able to get the few extra hours of sleep in after that.

The value for money in central London is amazing. The facilities are high end and spotless and beds large and comfy.

- We became members to take advantages like late Check out but we couldn't use the advantages because the booking was through booking.com. - We changed two rooms and even though they were the same the experience was different (one had better tv, an extra heating and an electric motor for the curtains) - Breakfast was average for the price - The reception and the relaxing area is very packed and you don't have space. - We asked 2 months prior to the stay to be on the second or third floor to avoid the noise (because we needed to be at the hospital nearby for treatment) but instead we were placed on the first floor. - We stayed for 2 weeks and the staff did not know us after being there for so long. You could at least know your long stay customers.

- Location is great close to the old street underground station and different restaurants - Umbrella was always available to use when the weather was not good - 24 hours reception - Security of the place - Check out at 11 - They act quickly when the room had a problem. They changed our room and also offered us breakfast. - Cleaning
