Everything was great.

The location was excellent. The room was very comfortable and the amenities like the tea and biscuits were enjoyed. After hiking all day, I was tired when I checked in and just wanted to cocoon in my room. It was the perfect place to relax.

The only thing I didnt like was the radiator in the bathroom which was quite hot. Although it was perfect for drying things we washed, it gave off too much heat and we had to keep the bathroom door closed so that the bedroom wouldn’t overheat.

Our room was lovely and quiet. We looked out over the bridge and water so a perfect view. The bathroom had enough room for our various bottles and cosmetics and the shower was easy to operate. All of the people were very helpful and the servers in the dining room was very friendly - Marie especially. The overall decorations was charming and well suited to the hotel and location. We really enjoyed our meals there, both breakfasts and dinners.

Besides being maybe the most beautiful property on the planet I’ve ever seen, the people really made it an experience we’ll never forget. Valentina and Jake in the restaurant and bar just restored my faith in humanity. How did I live my life until now without knowing them? Darik (I hope I’m spelling that correctly) at the front desk just greeted us so sweetly. Even the lovely housekeepers went above and beyond with us. Everything and everyone in your charming hotel were just that…charming.

Food choices very limited for a vegetarian.

Idyllic location and lovely room. The bathroom was amazing and had Molton Brown products. Staff were lovely and friendly but restaurant staff under pressure as short staffed and got order wrong.

There is only one disappointment and that is, I would return again but the price has more than doubled even for "off season,non peak" It's more than twice what I have paid for this time so I wouldn't pay that much despite the room and hotel, it's not worth the price it's gone upto which is such a shame to raise the price as one would expect, but to more than double it is shocking.

An excellent room with a beautiful big shower and a comfortable bed. A good selection of tea and coffee. Shame there wasn't any biscuits or chocolate as described but nonetheless, a very good choice. The restaurant is also fantastic, the food for breakfast and dinner was excellent.

The only thing we could have done better was to adjust the room temperature cause it became a bit too hot over night, but we didn't notice the radiator.

The stuff was very friendly and helpful, food was great and the location is beatiful! We got the "Mallard" room and the theme blended perfectly with the scenic view from the room's window!

Fantastic room with a four-poster bed and large bathroom. Lovely period features, we loved having windows on both sides of the room. Dinner was great, as was breakfast. Nice bar with a fire

Beautiful location , parking right next to the cottage. Lovely large cottage and hot tub, really clean and well equipped. Lovely staff, very easy check in and check out. Perfect.
