Fair price , for clean comfortable accommodation that serves a great breakfast

Not something that bothered us but worth noting if travelling with children . It has a pub below the bedrooms so expect some noise, not particularly noisy but best to be aware.

Room was a reasonable size and clean . We arrived a little later than expected but we’re still able to have an evening meal . Food was fine , pub grub. We all agreed the breakfast was delicious , one of the best we had whilst travelling the 500. The staff were exceptionally friendly .

Cups or mugs in bedroom rather than paper cups and a couple of biscuits.

Breakfast was great with lots of choice for hot and cold, dairy and non dairy.

The location is a bit tricky if you don’t have a car, although public transport is very efficient we would recommend this if you have a car.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was extremely kind and made us feel very welcomed. Breakfast offered a wide range of options that were all very tasty! Definitely go for a full Scottish.

Location is slightly out of the way, but with our GPS we did fine.

We had dinner there one night and the staff were very obliging about allowing us to take one meal upstairs---because one of our adults was sitting with a sick child. The food was good too. Breakfasts were great---made to order---and were part of the room cost. The owners (we think) are a lovely couple---very ready to chat and give ideas about local sights.

The bathroom wasn’t that great. The shower had barely any pressure, unfortunately

The staff was very friendly! They were really good at giving out tips on what to do and they were very flexible if you had a tour or anything planned (for breakfast purposes). The hotel itself is small and it has a very cozy vibe.

Check in was performed by the same member of staff who was working behind the bar. Not a huge issue but we did have a small wait compounded with mix up with the keys to the rooms

Nice breakfast, didn't feel rushed at checkout, a quiet area. Family room with inter connecting doors allowed a child and adult space but close enough to deal with any issues.

The hotel (pub) appeared to be in a council housing estate, which caused some concern as we traveled by motorcycle and there was no secure parking. I didn't sleep too well, as I was worrying about the bikes all night. (They were fine, despite my concerns).

Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

Rooms are located above the restaurant and bar. One of the rooms was located right by the main door needed to access upstairs. Any time guests closed the main door, it would slam and shake not only the main door but the door to the room. That happened quite a few times as the night went on. The music was blaring and could easily be heard through the floor.

The rooms are very basic but meet the needs of travelers. The free breakfast was a plus, and it was delicious. We had a lovely time visiting with one of the staff members while we were eating breakfast. There is plenty of parking on site and it is a quaint little hotel. Perfect location for accessing Clava Cairns and Culloden Battlefield.
