There were no problems.

This is a good hotel that is relatively close to the railway station (only a short walk) and provided everything that I needed while visiting Newcastle for a conference.

The hotel is easy to walk around the corner from the main train station. lovely staffs and not bad option for breakfast. Great shower faciltiies

Only small issues would be - see through bathroom doors in the rooms and being unable to open any part of the windows at all for some fresh air.

Very central, in walking distance to everything we were doing. Staff were all friendly and welcoming as we spoke to them on numerous occasions before and during our stay.

There was no remote for the TV it wasn’t an issue for me as I didn’t want to watch it but it’s just an observation. Only reason I gave a 9 was the breakfast ( self service in the heated trays) was barely warm . This hotel is not alone in that issue though as it seems to be a common problem with those trays . It was a shame because the quality of the food was good

Great location from train station and to town especially as travelling on my own. Staff really friendly and helpful. Hotel room and areas were very clean and comfortable .

1) No fridge in the room, meaning I can't keep my special non-dairy milk chilled; 2) No shower curtain/ screen in the bathroom so water did get everywhere.

Location could not be better - 2 min walk from the train station and in the centre of everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is basic but functional and most importantly very clean.

Housekeeping need to put more refreshment condiments in the room's 3 little sugar sachets and 1 sweetener isn't enough for anyone's stay. Booked two queen rooms although at same price rooms where significantly different this make one of our group feel like they had been down graded

Perfect location in the center of Newcastle, walking distance to Metro and Railway. Plenty of restaurants and pubs in the surrounding area. Simple, but complete breakfast. Generally an "ordinary" continental Breakfast, for business travel enough choice. If for vacation or holiday travel, when wanting to have an extended seat and a long coffee, bit unsuitable in my eyes. Room was clean and spacious. The rates are very good!

The only downside I’d say was the bathroom door wouldn’t fully close, wasn’t a fault, but the design. So the floor got very wet from the shower very quickly and wasn’t much privacy when going to the toilet. But wasn’t enough for it to ruin our trip or for us to complain!

Star were so so friendly! It was our first time in Newcastle and the staff recommended a few places. The location was fantastic! You’re 5mins from everything.

The room was very cold, and the air conditioning isn’t the best, took oven an hour to heat the room slightly! Also it is quite noisy so earplugs are needed to sleep. Curtains didn’t close properly so let a lot of light in, and the bed wasn’t the comfiest you could feel where the beds had been pushed together so wasn’t even a double or king bed.

Great location, close to the centre and train station. The superior rooms are big with large windows and decent views, shower was ok. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly.

I was in room 201, in Newcastle. Only down side was the constant extractor fan in the bathroom which droned on all night.
