We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomReally disappointed booked it for swimming pool for my son to enjoy He was not allowed to use jacuzzi, sauna or steam room not allowed to jump in to the pool basically not allowed anything. Room Aircon was faulty and there was biscuits expired in February to enjoy. Really bad smell outside too so not able to sit outside

United KingdomUnfortunately my experience with the men at the front desk brought the rating down. My boyfriend and I walked up to the counter, and my boyfriend mentioned that it’s in my name so I would be the one checking in throughout the checking in process however, the man behind the counter continued to hand any paperwork to my boyfriend, even though I was the one that needed to sign things as again it was my reservation. It came off as extremely sexist and rude and wasn’t a great opening to the stay.
The rooms were nice and clean, wish I was able to stay for than just one night.

United KingdomNo mirror in the room! And bathroom steamed up fast. Would have liked plug sockets next to the bed not under the window!?! There was a very strong smell of cannabis in the corridor from reception to the room and we alerted staff to this. An air freshener was sprayed even though it is a non-smoking area. This wasn't sufficient, especially as we were in a family room thankfully not with our children this time

United KingdomThe rooms were tired and in need of redecorating. The bar food was not value for money not of good quality. Reception staff unsure and lacked customer service , not welcoming. No lift to 3rd floor bedrooms and stairs from floor 2 to 3 were unstable creaking. Also carrying luggage could be difficult for some.
Shuttle bus was on time and efficient. Although the cost was unexpected and would assume that it should be a courtesy service. Driver pleasant helpful .

We paid £55 so got £55 worth. The staff excellent . The room was clean . The food , soup amazing the main not great. But the other food did look good . I had steak it tough partner had fish and chips . This was dry. Room very small bed very small heating or air co did t work .

United KingdomI was down staying here for work related reasons. Hotel staff and location. Unfortunately the shower was absolutely shocking and changed temperature 4 times out of the 6 times off using it and I have burnt my back and shoulders which is totally unacceptable. My work colleague was in a different room and had no problem with shower. I was in room 138 and would like some sort of refund as that’s ridiculous. I should not be getting burnt from shower water when not touching the shower mixer. I have had to get cream and in pain from it. I have booked on booking.com on many off occasions as you can tell by my profile and not had this kind of problem before. I’m so upset by these facilities.
Friendly staff and good location. Can’t complain about that.
