It would have been a perfect stay if the temperature in our room wasn’t so high. It was very hot and we really struggled with it, the fan we had in the room was not working, overall this really affected our sleep.

Staying at this hotel made us feel like we were staying in a palace, it was gorgeous! The room was big and very comfortable, same with the bathroom. The breakfast location was beautiful as well, and the food was delicious. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The place is char.ing and well decorated. The staff was so helpful and went the extra mile for us. The food was delicious. We ended up booking a 2nd night. Best place we stayed at in scotland. We highly recommend it.

From the online property description it is not evident there are actually 2 buildings, one of which is quite modern. So, if you’re expecting to be housed in the building you see in the photos, you could be disappointed.

The key cards don't work properly and we had to go down to the reception twice to get them fixed. Check-in was not smooth even though we had already checked in online. We had to wait 20 minutes at the unmanned reception desk as the (only)receptionist had to show each guest to his room, had a group of 6 before us. Probably considered as an extra touch to the service but not to the guests waiting in the queue.

The location is very nice, in a residential area with lots of greenery. Breakfast was great with the warm food served individually.

For breakfast, I had eggs benedict on both mornings, one day I got 2 eggs and muffins, the next I got 1. Not sure if they were running out?! I was just a bit confused. No problem, I ate a few pancakes to make up for it. :)

Staff were very smiley, friendly, welcoming. My room was comfortable, bed was great, slept well. Tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer, bath, nice toiletries, ironing board and iron in the cupboard in room, t.v. Nice view. Peaceful area. Breakfast was tasty. Lots of variety. Lovely old building. Lots of parking, if you are driving. It's a nice walk into town, if you are on foot.

Minor point but you do need car/taxi to central Inverness as walk is too long.

There's nothing - everything was perfect.

Extremely beautiful hotel - we felt so welcomed by the lovely and extremely friendly staff. The breakfast is to die for! Everything made with so much love. The beds are very comfortable and everything was super clean. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

Had to ask for a blanket as the quilts were too warm. The lunch was just so so. We ordered a ham panini and it came asa doughy bun cold with nothing but butter & ham…should be hot grilled if it’s a panini and at least a little mayo/mustard/lettuce. Disappointing lunch and expensive!

What a beautiful place. The room had a private patio area, was spacious with a large ensuite including bath. Throughout the facility it was spotless. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious. A wonderful time was had.

Nothing loved it

My stay was extremely pleasant, the room was very clean and quite modern I was staying in the old part of the hotel, and staff very accommodating the breakfast was excellent and would 100% stay again and recommend it as it’s only 5-10 minutes drive or 30 minutes walk to the town centre
