Wifi drops, but you can get other wifi through reception Some small ventilation noise from other hotel. The windows could be better isolated maybe. But, all in all, we certainly recommend it

Hotel with character. Some small things might not be perfectly comfortable, but it is a very enjoyable experience. Personel is absolutely great. I remember Rose (breakfast manager) but also other staff are very very kind. This is not a standard hotel you easily forget. It has a lot of charm.

The only improvement would be if there was complimentary bottled water in the room.

Location, food, room and staff all very good.

    Having to change rooms.

There was a problem with the TV in my original sea facing room so I was moved to another room but unfortunately that room was facing the back of the building, and the sounds of early morning deliveries and collections was disturbing.

Wifi and mobile reception was hopeless. Couldn’t get any signal or wifi connection at all. Only one tea bag for the whole night.

Breakfast was excellent and room had a fabulous view over the sea. Very comfy bed and spacious for a single.

Breakfast was lovely but could have done with some fresh breads. Only offered a sliced pan.

First time being in a hotel with a few dogs around. It was very sweet and well done. Lovely for people who consider their dog an important family member.

There was a slight fault with bath/shower, the plug would not close so I couldn’t run a bath and the shower head had a leak but as we still managed to use it I would say this was a very minor problem.

Excellent location, our family room was bigger than expected and with a lovely sea view. Beds were very comfortable and facilities very clean. Excellent breakfast, good value for money. All staff were very accommodating and friendly. Overall, the hotel had a lovely and relaxing atmosphere, with beautiful interiors and lounge area to enjoy an evening drink.

The restaurant was a little expensive. Breakfast service on Sunday morning was not great. The hotel was very busy due to an event the previous evening. Coffee pots are very small, and no refills are offered

It's a fantastic location right on the sea front. A family run hotel, staff are very helpful.

No tissues in the room (most hotels provide them).

Room large and comfortable with a nice view of the sea. Breakfast excellent. The location was close to facilities in Eastbourne which is what we wanted. Service good.

Really location up the beachy head end of Eastbourne, good sea view and nice park and restaurant in front of hotel. Staff great, breakfast was good, and for 3 of us the family room was great (1 adult, 1 baby, one 9 year old).

Room we got was not so great. Was set up for disabled persons, so basin and mirror in bathroom were too low. I guess we didn’t pay for a view so we certainly didn’t get one.

Location is great. Especially for a walk to Seven Sisters. Breakfasts were excellent. Staff were super friendly and efficient.

One of the bedroom’s decor was tired in comparison to the other guest room we had .

The staff were friendly & efficient. The breakfast was well organised & there was an excellent choice of items to suit everyone. I particularly like the fact that you pre order your tea , coffee & toast no queuing at the horrible machines !

Needed good reading lights and a shower one could adjust temperature wise. The shower was in the bath and came from the bath taps. It was impossible to get a reasonable temperature. If you turned up the hot it was boiling. Turn up the cold it was very cold. As a result one could not have a shower.

The room had very nice decor ( lovely curtains and painting on the wall). Good modern bathroom with mixer taps on the basin and shelves for wash bags etc. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very nice looking furniture ( wardrobe chest of drawers and bedside table) The room was compact but had everything needed and was nice. Helpful staff. Lovely general areas in the hotel.

Kitchen was short staffed at breakfast time, so delays in receiving breakfast in room, when requested as part of the room service. Ended up collecting it myself. But kitchen staff apologised for the inconvenience. And did not charge the £5 fee (per day) it otherwise would have cost.

Great location, very close to shops and restaurants. And just a short walk to the town centre. Stayed in a lovely seaview room. And the hotel is only steps from the beach. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff.
