Only one bedside table. Everything else was good and it was fine for me using my electric wheelchair.

Beautiful property, lovely rooms , magical setting Super friendly staff from reception, servers and cleaners , everyone had a smile and appeared genuinely happy to help. A lovely atmosphere left us feeling relaxed and spoilt by the beautiful surroundings and warm welcome . It’s been a long time since staying at a hotel where very box was ticked . Fantastic ! Can’t wait to return .

The food in general was quite average. Lunch was good but dinner was not great and breakfast was quite poor - food that had clearly not been cooked from fresh and fruit was not fresh.

The hotel as a whole is beautiful, very clean and lovely attention to detail. I would have preferred a memory foam mattress rather than sprung but it was still very comfortable. Staff could not have been more attentive, professional and accommodating.

Hard to think of anything!

First impression of the reception and public areas was excellent with a luxurious and welcoming vibe. Staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Our room was very nicely decorated. The bathroom looked like it had been recently decorated and was spotless. The breakfast served in the conservatory restaurant was excellent with large continental style buffet with good choice of fruit and cereals. Hot breakfast cooked to order. Plenty of tea and coffee on offer from the attentive staff. We also enjoyed the evening show held in the conservatory, a tribute act with very good 3 course meal booked separately.

Not enough staff serving drinks in the lounge, bar was mainly unmanned , had to search for staff and had to go to reception to ask them if they could find someone. A friend and his wife got married at the hotel 10 years ago and comeback every year for their anniversary, but not one member of staff acknowledged the significance of their stay despite an email being sent. A little acknowledgment/gesture from management would have gone a long way. Drinks were expensive.

Felt distinctly second best to Rat Pack show attendees. Dinner service (only available on the Friday night) very average - reheated meals from the show attendees. Dining room cold and uninviting - no intimacy. Breakfast on the Sunday - extremely slow service, had to ask again for coffee and toast.

Beautiful location and decoration at Christmas - properly highlighted by the dusting of snow! Room comfortable.

Both nights we were there were music nights in the orangerie. This meant that dining in for hotel guests was limited in terms of timings (after 8pm) and locations. It felt as if hotel guests were second in line to those attending the events.

Lovely manor house in beautifully landscaped estate. Breakfast was good but would be nicer if it were served to the table (instead of buffet) and had a couple of more options on the menu as befits such a fine hotel.

We enjoyed our three night stay , friendly staff , i was particularly impressed with Steven in the restaurant. Having worked in the hospitality industry for many years - albeit a few years ago impressed on the level of service given. We will be back , next time to enjoy a show as well.

Small thing - but the window cleaner cleaning our windows at 8.30am wasn’t ideal!

It was lovely and quiet for a romantic break. Our room was beautiful, with the bathroom particularly nice. We had a four poster bed which I recommend
