Couldn't control room temperature. Walls so thin we could hear conversations and telly on both sides quite late. Beds a bit hard. Didn't seem to have an extractor in the bathroom (maybe it was broken?) so got steamed up.

Easy to reach. Breakfast buffet choice and quality good. Staff very pleasant and good with children. Pool access was a bonus. Bathroom clean and just big enough.

Rudeness of visitors. (Not hotels fault though) Not enough sockets in the rooms. No fridge in rooms Badly Needs updating soon.

Only issue was that the shower was cool, we turned temperature to maximum and water was only just warm enough to shower under. Reported to reception. Could have done with an additional staff member behind bar in the evening.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location if you have a dog. Breakfast very good. Room and facilities otherwise good.

Evening meal menu very limited and plain/bland albeit well cooked though I would swear the steak and ale pie had been microwaved. Barman.. young, disinterested.. seemed more keen on leaving his bar and talking to the young waitress who, in fairness, had far more idea of customer service. I even had to ask for a glass when ordering a J2 O for my wife when he just put the opened bottle on the bar counter. He did then ask if I wanted ice with it. Not really 4* hotel standard. Room tired and in need of redecorating.

Great breakfast with experienced enthusiastic chef. Cooking a good breakfast is often underated but not in this case. Best hash browns ever. Usually avoid as often greasy but these were crispy and fluffy. Made up for the uninspired dinner menu,( see below,) Quiet room.

There was a light in bedroom that kept lighting up and dimming down then flashing. Even though we'd turned electric off. Kept us awake all night. Instead of going out next day as planned we went home and slept where we hadn't slept because of light

The lift not being on the same level as reception as currently waiting a hip replacement and going up/down stairs difficult.

Friendly staff with a warm welcome on arrival. Room very comfortable. Good food. Excellent facilities.

Paying more through booking.com than had we gone through the Hotel - will be more careful in the future.

Always quiet, plenty of space all around the Hotel. Near motorway and Kent attractions Helpful staff, especially Steve on Reception. Useful Pool and Sauna. Staff very helpful with our Family re-union arrangements on the Saturday.

Its location is good for those needing to be in the area, but is off a motorway. Lunch we ordered a sandwich and it was underwhelming, felt like a child’s sandwich. Would be good to able to control heating in room as was a bit chilly during the day.
