We ate in the bar area & although we’d booked a table there wasn’t one reserved. The service for the meal was very poor & spoiled what otherwise would have been an excellent experience

cannot think of anything negative, our attic room was quirky and if we had been staying more than 2 nights may have asked to change if possible only other comment from the group was the lack of hanging space and drawers for clothes even though we only had minimum with us

The location was excellent for our needs, there is a paved walk into Harrogate so you do not need the car and parking issues, it is also on a bus route for those not wishing to walk. We were 3 couples, 2 were on the first floor and we were on top floor in an attic room with lower beams, there is no lift, just so people are aware. All the meals we had breakfast, bar meal, festive meal were all excellent, choice was varied and they made adjustments to one to accommodate. all the staff were friendly and helpful and there was a lovely atmosphere

This is no reflection on the hotel but the firedoors are heavy and most other guests , just let them bang shut late in evening and early in morning disturbing the peace.

I loved the boutique design used throughout the hotel,it was so uplifting and colourful. Our room was a nice size and again decor was different and right up my street. The bed was comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean.Really good location for our visit. Oh have I mentioned the pretty gardens and ample parking.

Gorgeous hotel, very spacious and clean family room. Fab facilities. Breakfast wasn’t included but we chose to have it the second morning and it was lovely! Staff were fantastic, especially Monica who took our little ones to see Santa and brought them a little goodie bag on our second morning. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all!

Toilet kept braking in room. Breakfast coffee was cold ran out of hot water for tea. Prefer to have drinks served spoiled it a bit.. Food at night was very good.

Great food again with alternatives for food allergies and preferences , friendly helpful staff, plenty of parking , close to bus stop but taxis very reasonable to the station too, free WiFi, will be definitely booking again, lovely bar area and great cocktails so our family could come and meet up with us, well worth our 200 mile journey

The breakfast was a bit haphazard. We were the only people in the dining room but waited quite a while for a cooked breakfast. It was lovely when it came but not terribly hot. Very limited cereal choice, toast, marmalade had to be asked for. It was just a bit odd. One or two of my party thought an extra blanket for the bed would have been good.

This is a very friendly hotel. The rooms are lovely and very clean. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. It has a lovely atmosphere.

Breakfast felt very awkward and the guy serving also made us feel a little awkward. Breakfast was ok.

Great value for money. Lovely outside area for a few evening drinks. Overall well worth the price and a great stay. Parking available and it was easy to find and access. Front house staff and bar staff were great and friendly.

Had room number 8 which I would have again. But to get key into lock was somewhat difficult due to poor light. I was prepared next time with phone light.

An EV charging point, nearest fast charge is nearly 3 miles away. Its so much more convenient to charge and sleep at the same time. I had to get up early, miss breakfast to go to charge.

The room had a couple of areas that needed a bit of tlc - chipped paintwork and skirting boards. The shower tray got really full during a shower so had to stop the shower halfway through to drain the water. But these didn’t spoil our stay ☺️

Had an evening meal, and breakfast during our stay. Food was absolutely delicious. Staff so lovely, especially with our 5 year old daughter. Very welcoming and let us check in a little earlier.
