Staffs were very welcoming, we did feel comfortable and they keen to help. Amazing, serene place to be reenergised. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed it. Unfortunately we were there for such a short stay. We’ll come back very soon.

Some staff shouldn’t be front of house people. Room wasn’t brilliantly clean. Found quite a few pubic hairs in the bath and around the toilet.

For room 2 (disabled guests) Mixer tap strange - you needed to put it to full strength to get warm water and got splashed Shower also a pain to get to correct temperature Toilet was right underneath sink No view (hit and miss whether you get one or not) Not huge gripes but still disappointing for price even if included breakfast Unfortunately the morning we had breakfast there was a builder sandpapering the bar at 8.30am!

The duvet had some pretty gross brown staining on it. Unfortunately we didn’t see it until the morning or I would have asked for a clean duvet that evening. Also tight on the loo roll situation! Haha

The only issue we had was my husband's food on the first night - however the issue was resolved quickly and efficiently.

Restaurant food not amazing, but not terrible. Breakfast had lots of choices. The view from the restaurant is beautiful.

The pool was shut from 2-2.45 on the day off our arrival, this wouldn't of been a problem but we were not told so that slightly annoying when we were in our costumes ready to get into the pool and couldn't.

The room was spacious and the views were gorgeous. The pool was lovely and dinner and breakfast were great with lots of choice.

The jacuzzi not working

The leisure faculties and beauty treatment were excellent, There was a good selection of freshly cooked breakfast. The room was also very large and quiet, considering it was so close to Gatwick.

The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together with a mattress on top which normally isn't a problem from previous stays at other hotels however it was noticeable when sleeping as it was very hard and springy in the middle. Not a massive issue but was something we noticed. The restaurant experience was a bit of a disaster. It took over 2 hours to be served a starter and a main meal. We waited over 45 minutes for our starter and once we politely mentioned it to the waitress it came to our table within a few minutes. After an hour and half we were then made aware that the 'ticket' for our mains was lost and that they were just starting to cook our food. By this point it was late and the restaurant was practically empty which was frustrating. We were offered a complimentary round of drinks which was a nice touch however the service was very poor.

What a fantastic stay. The check in process was friendly and quick. The rooms are very quiet and cozy. Complimentary access to the Spa with Sauna & Steam is an added bonus, the facilities are incredible. Complimentary breakfast was a brilliant way to end a great stay. It was more than we expected and the Full English was substantial. Top tip... make sure you meet Oscar the cat he was lovely.

Breakfast has been amazing. We also enjoyed our dinner - not much alternative closeby, the club is in the countryside - The dinner has been tasteful and with a great quality/price ratio. All staff is friendly.
