“Nothing, the hotel was without doubt the worst I had ever stayed in. From the moment I entered the hotel to the moment I left was diabolical. I booked for 3 nights and had to leave after the first night. The manager refused to give any reimbursement for the balance of the nights, they just said that the booking was non- cancellable. I tried to explain that cancellation is should apply if you want to cancel prior to arrival and not in a situation where you are forced to leave a property as it is simply unfit for occupation. The hotel is situated within a couple of hundred metres of Gatwick's runway so the aircraft noise is unbearable, I eventually got to sleep around 1.00 am to be woken by the occupants of the room next door leaving at 4.00 am (presumably for an early flight). The description of the hotel as a "peaceful and secluded space" is a farce. Don't be fooled for the online photos, they are extremely deceptive.”
“The staff were brilliant and on seeing my husband’s disability, moved us to a more appropriate room, at the same price! It was a good base for attending an event at the K2.
We didn’t get to use any of the other facilities so can’t comment.”

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
