The description of the rooms, booked a deluxe king room with an extra large double. When we arrive we were told they call their double rooms king rooms but the only have a double bed. They did move us for no charge but I have never been to a hotel where a king room is a double room.

Hotel couldn’t check us in until approx 18:30, we got 20% back on the room, but this really messed up our plans meaning due to our booked reservations we didn’t get into our room until gone midnight due to having non-changeable things booked. However we were pre warned by a few days, but we would have never booked if we knew check in was o late as the 20% was no good to us around our plans.

Stayed here for a birthday night out in Bournemouth. Good location, cheap taxis to the main night life area. Free parking in the hotel, just make sure you register your car. Rooms were good for what we needed it for. Cheap and cheerful.

Pool was an hour late opening. We ate in the resturant and although the food was OK it was not up to the standard it should have been . I had the hake and the sauce was like water

We had an issue between Booking.com and the hotel where Booking (proven by a screenshot I took) had said breakfast was included in the price but the hotel said it did not. It was solved relatively quickly by the hotel granting complimentary breakfast which we are hugely grateful they did. It was embarrassing for us to have to argue our case for ten minutes in public view but the manager on that day did sort it out. Thank you.

Walking outside to get to your room and creaks on floor board almost every where your walking. Room was good and no noise while walking.

Creaky floorboards in the room but very hard to avoid this given the age of the hotel. The walk to the rooms, we were given two options we choose the route across the car park which was a little odd.

The hotel is located right on the front and a close walk to the the Pier. Staff were great, very welcoming. The room had recently been refurbished to a high standard and what is most important to me, the bed was super comfy.

However, it is noisy as you can hear every step of the people who live above. The floors are made of wood so is making a lot of noise. Overall, the hotel looks a little outdated, except for the bathrooms. Also, there is a big issue with the parking, as there are not enough spaces to accommodate all the cars, so we had to park our car a bit far off from the hotel. Some things in the restaurant are also not on the Marriott level. The coffee they are serving for breakfast(the standard one), I think it's the same one it is served in the army. Very, very poor quality! So we had to order some extra coffee and pay for it. Overall, the price you pay for the value you are getting is not quite reasonable. If it was like 40-50% cheaper, maybe it would have been great!

The room is decent, with a comfy bed and very nice bathroom. Staff is nice and was really helpful to us. The restaurant is ok for dinner and mostly ok for breakfast.

Perfect location, the seaview is amazing, seeing a concert at Bic, a five minute walk, having lunch outside, was good , Breakfast was a great choice and lots of it. Would definitely stay again, and have a sandy beach .......

The fact that the room had virtualy no storage space,no drawers to put clothe and unferware Also the room was very very small and did noy match the 206 pounds we paid for each of the two nights we stayed/Finally yjr reception manageress was extremly ried to me and i was forced to tell herr that she was not living up to the name of the hotels brand name !!!

We did inform the hotel prior to arriving it was our wedding anniversary and I had asked for chocolates in the room, which I was told could be arranged but this didn't happen. No milk available in the room. Lovely see views but disappointed we had a room with small windows. No blinds in the bathroom appreciate we were 4th floor just felt uncomfortable. Only a bed side table one side. Bed very firm which we found uncomfortable.

Staff at reception desk very friendly. Great location, quite at night, room was a good size, very clean. Was able to check in early. breakfast was qood quality and lots of choice. Sea views lovely, nice large bed and heavy curtains that kept the light out. Air-conditioning was amazing.

I would have liked a bath for the price but the shower was nice. Breakfast was very expensive on top of the room price, so I gave it a swerve!

The location is brilliant, particularly if you are going to an event at the BIC like I was. Room was spacious and comfortable - windows did not really open but that was okay as the room has aircon. Big comfortable bed and the room was very quiet. I didn’t have breakfast or any food so cannot comment on that.

The 2nd bed is a sofa bed and, as is usual when we are in a hotel our 4 year old wants to share the big bed so one of us has to have the sofa bed. It was noisy and uncomfortable. A sofa is unnecessary and a proper bed would make the stay much more comfortable.

As we were a family, it was disappointing and inconvenient at times that we could not be accommodated near each other despite requesting it. One of our rooms was very small for the price - I feel like a discount to the advertised price should have been offered because of it. It was drastically different in size to the other room we were given.

The staff we met were all very good. The facilities in the hotel we really enjoyed - swimming pool, location to the beach, tennis court, excellent restuarant and bar.

The hallway to our room smelt like weed the second night into the second morning. It did not dissipate for the whole day and was pungent.

Although the room was very nice and comfortable with a great shower in the bathroom and a lovely side view to the sea, be prepared for the wall (with a door) to let through all the sounds between rooms 200 and 201. Can be disturbing.

Very friendly staff, a very relaxing atmosphere, tastefully decorated. It has a perfect location. Very good self-service breakfast.
