We would recommend a shower mat in the bathroom as the bath is slippy when showering.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for both Birmingham Airport and the Genting Arena. We were attending the Elbow concert, and it is a 10 minute level walk from the hotel to the venue.

This was supposed to be a executive twin room- way too expensive - decor tired, it needs decorating, window ledge very untidy, lots of marks on walls, air con did not work, bathroom basin tap, hot water, impossible to turn- view from window was horrible, overlooked the flat roof, yuk! - wouldn't return for this price

The hotel needs updating. The windows had aluminium secondary glazing which suggests the late 60's - 70's. There was no air conditioning in the room and as the room was level with a path outside we had to keep the window closed at night. The room also lacked a safe, a fridge and a toilet roll holder. A light over the bed didn't work and had a loose fitting.

The bar was excellent for drinks and bar meals. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable.

Our room was basic, hot and stuffy even with window open . Decor was tired, doors chipped and dusty. Bathroom had a lot of dust in corners and around shower . We had a twin room at back of hotel , beds were small singles, fortunately we are slight people ! Noisy fans could be heard through the night Very basic and minimal amounts of tea and coffee in room but could get extra by asking at bar . Instant coffee was dreadful and coffee from bar/restaurant was not great either - no strength.

Nice comfy room. Check in efficient with helpful staff on every encounter. A good, clean and well maintained leisure facilities. Excellent location for the World Resort Arena. 5-7 minutes walk and just over 10 minutes walk from Birmingham International train station. Reasonable priced with nice breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and polite, as mentioned earlier. This is our 2nd stay here, and we would not hesitate to book again. A good hotel.

Room was incredibly hot, 1st floor but window opened onto a flat roof, so didn't feel as safe as it could. No iron within the room.

Well located for the NEC, staff were friendly and helpful, room was spacious.

There was a rip in our duvet cover and the duvet was quite stained which we only saw as where it had been tucked into the end of the bed the cover was not all the way on so it was hanging out the bottom of the cover.

Location was fantastic, very close to arena. Pool facilities were brilliant. And the bar food went on until late as did the bar service. The male member if staff on reception as we arrived was fantastic, very informative and helpful as to where to go for the gig, and how to do everything through our stay, breakfast, swimming etc.

The email system wasn't working and no help other than the straight forward try again, reload solutions were offered. I didn't arrive until late, so this was in the early hours of the morning and I am used to working with hotels wifi set ups.
