The blanket was very heavy for our liking.

Everything was great! The fresh fruit basket was very appreciated. Spacious room even though it was on the top floor, which we were sceptical about at first, but glad our expectation were wrong. Location is great!

Loved the shutters but they don't fully block out the light. Parking a bit tricky, but on saying that we were there at peak season and did manage to find somewhere.

Lovely guest house run by lovely friendly people. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, spotlessly clean and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. Will definitely stay here again.

The only downside was that the wifi in my room could be patchy at times – it was good enough to watch youtube videos, but sometimes I had to disconnect and reconnect again to establish a decent connection (though I imagine this was by virtue of being in the top floor).

My stay at Aquarium Guest House was superb; I met with Scott when I checked in who was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was on the top floor and had a beautiful view over the rooftops of the city. Every morning the room was cleaned to a high standard and the supply of complimentary hot drinks (e.g. tea and coffee) was replenished – a lovely touch. Scott allowed me to leave my case in the hotel beyond checking out so I could make the most of my last morning, which was incredibly kind. If I go back to Brighton I will definitely be interested in staying here again :).

Really great stay. Scott and Helen were excellent hosts and went above and beyond for me and my partner and really added to the stay. They were polite, showed an interest in what we planned to do and recommended some sights and restaurants. On top of their great hosting the room was excellent and very clean. Definitely worth the money and looking forward to coming back next year.

There was no formal hot breakfast provided, however there was a lovely fresh basket of fruit, tea, coffee and biscuits provided every day, plus there was a fridge in the room. It could be noisy at night with music coming from local bars, but that's what you would expect in any city. Parking could potentially be a problem, but we were able to park right outside the Guesthouse, and the owners were really helpful in getting us a space. We didn't have to move the car for the four nights we stayed there, because everything is so close by and accessible.

The location is brilliant for accessing everything in Brighton. The owners are very welcoming, helpful and friendly, and the guesthouse is exceptionally clean. A five minute walk takes you to the beach and pier, to The Lanes, and all the other amazing restaurants and shops. It's easy and very cheap to hire a bike (the green BTN bikeshare bikes) which we did to cycle along to Brighton Marina and back. The I360 is definitely worth going on for the amazing views.

Everything was perfect apart from the shower temperature would fluctuate at times where the water would temporarily drop to very cold unexpectedly but other than that there was nothing not to like!

The superior room we stayed in was lovely. It was really well equipped. The fresh fruit basket and cereal bars were a great touch. The location is perfect as it meant we could walk to most places we wanted. It was tidy and felt honourable to stay in. Scott and Helen were both very friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be returning in the future.

The room did get a little bit hot of an evening but a fan was provided Also fridge wasn’t very cold but nothing to moan about at all. All in all I had a lovely time and would definitely recommend it

Parking wasn't great, took us about 45 minutes of driving round to find something so we were late for dinner.. But that's not their fault, it's just Brighton. The kettle smelt like melting plastic when we boiled water, and the coffee/tea really tasted weird as a result, possibly needs replacing! The shower was OK but it didn't give out a great deal of water so we found it took a long time to wash our hair etc.

The entire place was immaculately clean, not a spec of dust anywhere. The bed was incredible too, soo big and soo comfy! The breakfast basket was restocked daily which was great and amenities, tea, coffee, fridge etc were all welcome too. The hosts were really warm and welcoming. Location was absolutely fantastic, can't fault it at all, totally perfect. I also loved the decor of the room, modern and homely.

Didnt realise the amount of stairs there would be to get to our room which was on the 4th floor.

Easy walking distance to all major visitor sites in Brighton. Especially the pier, the i360, upside down house and Pirate adventure golf which offers delicious ice creams and fish and chips. Also close to Volks Railway.
