This is really the only thing I can think of we had a great time, the bed was cosy and comfortable but a rather soft, it was fine as myself and friend prefer soft but if I was with my partner he would have found it uncomfortable.

We were in a deluxe double, lovely and spacious, though if you were a tall man it might feel a bit tight as we were in the attic space the ceilings were lowers than other rooms. The window was fabulous with two little chairs to sit and relax looking at the fantastic view. I also really appreciated the addition of peppermint tea in the tea caddy, nice to have at the end of the day.

Rooms themselves were dated needed a good dusting. The locks on the doors are very loud when they shut. Other guests throwing glass bottles into the recycling at ungodly hours. Information on the reception board was incorrect e.g. said keys would be hanging up but they weren't.

Friendly staff. Shared kitchen facilities were very clean and useful. Views were excellent. Lots of parking space. Performant shower. Comfortable and clean bed.

Nothing really. But if you are a light sleeper you might be wakened by neighbours. I slept well though maybe next door didn't because of my snoring

Rooms basic but adequate had everything you needed. Maid service was there if required. Staff all really nice garden lovely to sit and look at view at night with a refreshment. Communal kitchen spotless. Felt very comfortable being a solo traveller . A lovely 15 minute leisurely walk into village along the coast line.

Some of the other visitors staying in the sleep huts would have loud conversation right outside the huts from as early as 7am almost every morning we were staying. This woke us up and made it very difficult to get back to sleep. The shared kitchen is great however, it really could be doing with another couple of pots/pans/frying pans as there are only 2/3 of these for everyone using them. Some smaller chopping boards and a few more knives wouldn't go a miss either.

Almost everything was great. Rooms clean and comfortable. Shared kitchen was also kept clean by the guests using it and the staff were very friendly.

The bathroom in the room (Double Room with Sea View) was almost impossible to shower standing up, and also splashed water everywhere, in the case of this room only for baths.

The place is well located for those traveling by car, which was my case. It's very comfortable and has an incredible view with some good restaurants, cafés and pubs nearby.

Amazing and cosy cottage with a beautiful view!

Maybe the poorly lightened path up the hill to the lodge.

The cottage was cosy and clean. The view of the sea was perfect! The location was ok, a bit farther than I imagined, approx. 20 minutes by feet from the closest bus stop. Poorly lightened path to the hotel, though. The bathroom was very nice, small but clean and well furnished. The beds were super comfy! TV was working perfectly (maybe a bit small but that's not a big minus). The communal kitchen was very modern, clean, and well-furnished.

Too expensive for a tiny cabin room. Not insulation, huge gap at the door, but that's why you get a heater, so with the heater on is okay even in the May. The mattress was very used up, one can feel the springs. The pans in the kitchen were heavily damaged by guests, so it was difficult to use any pans for cooking.

Nice view from the kitchen area. Good equipped kitchen. Room and shower was clean. Enough parking. Good pressure in shower.

Still a little expensive. 1 night stay overs aren't possible - which is a shame as I like to be on the move. Esp as there are lots of great places to visit, via ferries etc.

Great location. Arran Huts are a good alternative to camping. Comfortable bed, hot shower.

    Walking up the hill/entrance driveway!!
