“We were sold on the location and sunset/sunrise views from Cape Cornwall. It was in a good spot for venturing into Mousehole and Penzance. We had good weather too which is a bonus. The bed was comfortable and spacious and the shower was nice. I must admit that I was dubious after reading the reviews (I’d booked it beforehand) that we’d made the right choice but we had a surprisingly lovely stay overall - probably as the hotel is under new management.”

“The location is fantastic. A great pub just down the road at Botallack. The pool was great except for a little green at the top of the steps which was making them slightly slippery. The underwater lights had come out of their fixings so were hanging off the pool wall underwater. The gym was good, some equipment not working properly for a few years according to one regular but it was great entertainment for my son.”
