“The Castle Inn is a lovely old pub, with bags of interior atmosphere, a beer garden, and a tidy crowd of locals. There was even a group of morris dancers (not specially laid on for us, but still). The food was good, with specified local ingredients, which we thoroughly approve of. The breakfast, particularly had the type of butcher's sausage that is all too rare in a B&B cooked breakfast. The shower was excellent, and the bed comfy.”
“The staff were simply excellent - friendly and helpful at all times. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway - unfortunately there were high winds during my stay so Lydford Gorge and the Devil's Cauldron were both closed to the public. The room was very comfortable and the food was delicious.”
“Everything from the room, the breakfast and the pub as a whole was lovely! It was all very cozy and the food was delicious. Also great location in Lydford - walking distance to the National Trust Lydford Gorge. I'd return in a heartbeat!”
“Angelina and her husband couldn't have been kinder and more welcoming hosts. Their house is unique and interesting, and in a beautiful setting. And the breakfast was outstanding!”
