“Delightful place for a stopover, a great rural location. Very quiet, The room was spotless as was the well equipped kitchen area. The family room has its own private bathroom, but is located opposite the bedroom. The room has a double bed and 2 bunks( great for larger families), plenty of storage space too. A great night sleep, bed very comfortable with no noise. Will be back for sure.”

“The hotel has a fabulous location overlooking the harbour and bay in Portballintrae. The dining room is beautifully appointed and the view is lovely. We had evening meal here which was filling and tasty, though it was focused on meat and potatoes with virtually no vegetables. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.”
