“The staff always made a point of saying hello or good morning. Breakfast was freshly cooked and high quality, if very traditional. Our room was comfortable and a good size. We felt very at home!”

Beautiful hotel and grounds and very relaxing ambiance with plenty quiet areas like the library and gardens to enjoy. Dinner was in a beautiful dining room and beautifully presented with and excellent menu. Although I was just on holiday it would be ideal for a special occasion too. Because I brought my dog with me we coud have a lovely breakfast in the cocktail bar and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating to do this as part of their excellent pets policy , which with all the little touches in the room was one of the best I've come across. Leisure facilities were very nice too and the grounds were lovely to explore.”
