The room we took was an upgrade to a king. It was clean and comfortable. There were several places to eat which was fine. Check in was easy and relatively quick for us. Parking was free and easy. The hotel is The last stop on the mono rail which was convenient as it had its own stop. The air conditioning worked really well in the room.

The location is the very north of the strip, its the last hotel. Immediately across the road north bound the atmosphere changes when walking with a quite threatening feel and numbers of people who looked to have drug problems and living on the street. We were advised not to walk north towards Freemont Street but to take a taxi. It may have been a temporary issue but for our two night stay wifi constantly dropped off every few minutes which also impacted on the room TV constantly dropping off. Worse were the elevators. In our tower there were 5 but they were not recognising a request to go down from any of the lobbies. This meant that people were having to jump in any elevator to go up, and wait eventually for it to go down which could only happen when the down button was pressed from inside the lift. They said they knew there was an issue but there were large groups of people stuck in the lobby of the floors waiting to go down. The hotel did not compensate for wifi issues and even worse being unable to call for an elevator down, which when you're on the 17th floor is a big deal. No one would ever book a hotel knowing the elevators were not working properly so I would have expected to have been offered a reduction in the bill, which did not happen. I won't stop there again mainly for it being so isolated at the North end of the strip, but also for the lack of recognition of the failing infrastructure on the price.

I had the best night sleep on the bed. It was super comfortable! Quiet too and I slept soundly. I actually preferred the corridor room as it kept our room super quiet. You can open the curtains and allow natural light in so it’s all good.

The breakfast could have been improved to include yogurt, additional fresh fruit, cheese and meats. I did enjoy the bread and viennoiserie, but a few more healthier options should be made available. Of course, we have to mention our dissatisfaction with the car parking facilities. It’s super expensive and not even a minor discount was offered to hotel users.

Bed was quite uncomfortable and indicated “king” on the booking (it was not a king), however the rest of the unit was very clean, functional and had everything we needed

The pool is open from 10am to 5pm. In the non beach season this is very inconvenient. If it was 7am to 5pm, or 10am to 9pm. That would be very reasonable. I wanted to go for a swim in the morning before breakfast, after breakfast it is hard to swim, or go to the pool and sit in the jacuzzi before going to bed.
