Positive section of review
A great room, spacious, clean, view towards the sea. There is a small parking lot next to the hotel, although it was low season so parking on the street was fine as well. The downtown area is 20-30 min of walk, which is exactly why I chose this place, so I am quite happy with the location. Day shift receptionist spoke some English, evening shift did not, but Google translate always helps. Internet was strong and stable. It is a hotel I enjoyed and I would book again if I visit Foca.

There was no boiling kettle in the room to make your own tea/coffee. I had to leave very early (before breakfast), so it would have been nice to start the day with a warm drink. This should be a small investment, so I hope they bring some next time.

The cleaner was a bit of hit and miss, meaning she often forgot to leave daily bottled water, towels, teabags etc.

This not about the property but their recommended airport transfer taxi. On my way to the airport I was charged an additional $5 for the “autobahn” fee which i had read is a one of the scams the local taxi drivers use. It was disappointing as the taxi driver threatened to intentional delay his drive to the airport unless I agreed to the fee. When I agreed he picked up the speed.

I was booked 4 months before going to turkey when I was hotel on my booking day they said we don’t have any room I was shocked after travelling 22 hours flight with my wife and 4 luggage’s middle of Istanbul they said we have room but not in hotel they take as to old and creepy 2 story house horrible place they asked me you have to pay cash I was paid 4 days total money when I seen room horrible unsafe I was called booking com customer service they didn’t help me with this horrible situation I lost 4 days cash payment they are like mafia
