Positive section of review
The location is phenomenal only a walk away from the main attractions in the old town. Yes, there are restaurants with slightly persevering hosts, but they are only doing their job, a polite negative was sufficient. Overall they were nice about their ways, it even became fun to conceive new ways to decline their approach.

It is not related to the hostel, but if you are going to spend most of your time on the Asian Side, exploring outside of Istanbul, or in the northern European side (Karakoy, Ortakoy, Taksim etc), perhaps this is not the most convenient location. But to each their own. I liked the night walks from the Tram Station back to the hostel.

The hotel is located not far away from SAW airport and is okay for a one night stay before the flight. The suite was spacious and clean, the price okay. The personnel is nice, and there is a 24h reception.

The street of the hotel is a bit loud. The furniture and the room walls have seen better days, with pieces falling off, and a burn hole in the couch. The entrance smells of old tobacco. No airport shuttle, and our taxi experience was not good (came late, charged more than agreed, was loud).

1. Good location, not far from metro station Taksim, close to Istiklal, not too far from Galata port 2. Room was nice, with good wifi 3. I had a check in 2h earlier which was great

1.There was no hair dryer and I didn't get it even after 3 times of asking 2. There are some ruined buildings around which looks bad but the area is still safe enough

My room was on the ground floor with the window straight onto the street, so sunlight and any privacy are not possible simultaneously. Also the room is smaller than the photos. Sound insulation to the entry hallway is quite poor.

It’s an extremely dirty hotel. The towels aren’t washed, we asked for new towels and there were other people’s hair on them. The bins weren’t changed when we arrived so the room stank. The fan in the toilet was not working. We were locked in for 2hrs since the door lock was broken and I missed my appointment. NO SECURITY! The worker was in the back of the reception sleeping so therefore we had to ask random people from the window for help however they couldn’t help since the worker locked the front door and slept. The cutlery wasn’t cleaned properly. The bed’s were very uncomfortable and the sheets were definitely not washed since there was very short men hair on them. No lift either so you would get tired going up and down the stairs. Overall it was a horrible experience, do not go!
