Neorion Hotel - Special Class

Positive section of review
The Neorion was in a perfect location within walking distance of the main sights, near the ferries and tram links. The room was of a good size and very clean. Staff were exemplary and couldn't do enough to help. Front of house were great in helping us make the most of our trip and complimentary tea/coffee was available in the lounge after a day sightseeing. There was a pool & spa which we did not use but the rooftop restaurant overlooking the Bosphorous was popular, had a good ambience and was very convenient.

The hot breakfast choices could have been better but there were plenty of other options available. The staff service was excellent and we were kept topped up with tea & coffee. We requested a room at the back of the hotel which was quiet. I suspect a room overlooking the busy street might be noisy.

You can reach everything you want on Istiklal Street, a 4-minute walk from Taksim square. It is a very famous street, there were always tourists, we felt very safe. The room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was very delicious. Ms. Raife gave us extra treats for breakfast and was very friendly. We thank him very much.

The staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and engaged to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Also, the food at the restaurant and overall design of the hotel were fantastic. A very nice place with great value for the money you pay.

A lovely quiet location run by such friendly and helpful people who made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was superb. If I ever come back to Istanbul I would stay here and certainly recommend it to friends.

exceeded expectations! the room was spotlessly clean (cleaned daily) and comfortable. the location is great and the staff is really nice - they even let us leave our luggage after checking out :)
