The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to help us with anything. The lobby, our rooms, and the breakfast room are beautiful. Breakfast was exceptional and a highlight of our day -- it offered excellent Japanese and European/American choices. We loved our stay and can't wait to return! :)

The house and the surrounding environment is cozy and great, the view is fabulous.

The road / path to get to the house is very steep, if you have luggage with you, you will find very difficult to reach the place. it is good that you come with a backpack. We left our luggage in our car and carry a backpack over. The car park is at the Senko-ji park.
