Facilities were exactly as advertised and even provided milk and some breakfast items which was unexpected . David and Angela were very welcoming and showed us around the apartment and being onsite were around if we needed anything. The location is excellent, no need to find parking in Lyme Regis as the property has private parking and is only a relatively short and pleasant walk to the centre and beach.

A fantastic place to stay. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, spacious bathroom, tea and coffee provided, very friendly staff, good choice of beers in the bar and friendly clientele. Breakfast is made to order in a spacious and comfortable dining room. ALL GOOD and highly recommended.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff on front desk, room was spotless and well equipped (cooker, full-size fridge-freezer, microwave, tv, free fast (200 MB) Wi-Fi etc. Bed was comfortable and the room felt relatively spacious.

The town of Alnwick is beautiful with the castle, the gardens and some pretty good restaurants. Well worth a 3 day visit!

Dirty rooms, windows that can neither be properly opened nor properly closed. Traffic noise at night feels like trying to sleep in the middle of the road. Poorly trained staff and a manager hopelessly out of his depth. Guests are practically locked in at night and can only get in or out via the external fire escape (very steep and wobbly wooden staircase !) The manager parking his own car in the hotel’s Disabled Parking spots.
