Everything about this place is perfect and totally worth the money. The staff was incredible and make our stay perfect from the beginning to the end. We arrived early morning (4am) and everyone was extremely helpful despite our inconvenient timing. The breakfasts are delicious (try sweet version of the local pancake called tapioca) and the localization of the place is perfect, just inside the historical part of the town. This was such an amazing and relaxing stay and we will recommend this place to everyone. If we will ever come back to Brazil, it will be to Paraty and Pousada do Ouro, it’s magical!

The location is great, close to the beach with lots of leisure options. The building amenities are great and the safety measures handy. The balcony and its hammock were amazing. The breakfast was good, with enough options, plus fresh and excellent tapioca and cuscuz (regional dishes) cooked by request. For a solo traveler, if you increase your budget a bit more you can find a nice hotel in the same area to stay.

During the breakfast we had to listen to Christian songs. I politely asked to switch the music and I was informed Christian songs need to be played until 10am. The towels and bed linens were very old. Even soap to wash your hands during all your stay is not provided. No shampoo, body soap, nothing like this is provided. The room had some mold smell and the unit is very ventilated so it was gone after a few days.

My stay at this Casa Elea was delightful. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere tranquil, and the cleanliness impeccable. The breakfast spread was varied and delicious, and I loved the option of cakes by the pool in the afternoons. Meeting Luiza, the resident cat, added an extra touch of charm to the experience. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

The location is wonderful, right on the beach. The breakfast was okay, the food from the restaurant was excellent though. The best thing was the staff and concierge Mariana, they were all super helpful and were very courteous and professional with all my needs.

There was something about breakfast I didn't like but it couldn't have been that bad because I can't remember what it was. The room was just okay nothing special about it, it met all my needs.

It’s extremely beautiful and you will feel like at home thanks to the owner and the staff. The breakfasts are huge and delicious, the swimming pool is amazing, but the real star is the sunrise which is worth waking up to!

It’s not so much about the property, but the location is a bit tricky - when ordering uber just choose Uber black right away (which is not expensive in Rio and more reliable when it comes to picking you up from Santa Teresa).

Just by cobacabana beach, with lots of of restaurants, cafes near by. Pool in the roof has excellent view and service is nice as well.

Only minor issue I had was some temporary off-season building they were doing during short parts of the day. But I think that should be finished pretty soon anyway and the place will look even better anyway because it seems like they’re adding some new cool social areas
