The hotel is quite nice and modern; the room is comfortable, with a spacious bathroom off the main bedroom with the addition of a second WC. The beds were comfortable, and housekeeping would respond to any requests. The breakfast is good with some decent choices, and the pool has a great view

The rooms could be cleaner ie behind the doors, the tiles and sinks. To get anywhere, you need to catch cabs or Uber, which adds up over time.

The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable and we were upgraded to a superior room. The Med Bar food and staff are excellent. We had a number of problems but the buffet manager was very courteous and he and the reception provided excellent customer service.

Be aware that this is predominantly an all inclusive hotel, with those standards, ideal if you like the hustle and bustle of a huge number of small children running wild. The buffet lacks organisation and staff and it should be avoided; the food was of poor quality and cold and serving areas covered in spilled food. There were no glasses or cups for drinks and only a few members of staff, trying their best to keep on top of it all. It is horrendously noisy and wasn't helped by the high number of extremely rude, sullen guests who pushed in, spilled food and seemed to believe the were in some way superior. Once it was the Yankee dollar, now it is the Rouble in the UAE. The beach needs some soft sand imported, best wear footwear until you go into the sea. The lagoon itself is murky, not particularly pleasant for swimming.

Would have liked fried or scrambled eggs for breakfast, not available at the buffet. I wanted to park at the front for 5 minutes to drop off bags in the room but was told Dubai transport authority didn't allow it. I had to attend the exhibition with the suitcases still in the car.

Kids activity program given to us was not correct ,we ask JA lake view hotemin the morning for kids activity which was mentioned in schedule ,she confirmed and to go for the other hotel (I don't rember the nemae for pirates and mermaids centr) but after reaching their the staff who is on the centre reception rejected our kid to entre ,saying its only by appointment for that day So generally more than 2 hours wasted on our stay for nothing
