Breakfast was pretty simple and the bathroom shower would wet all the floor and it would be impossible to dry until their daily cleaning service of the room.

Exceptional location, very closed by to Behai park. Mark was very helpful and attentive always recommending traveling times, giving guidance on departure times for us to reach on time and of course helping us with a few Chinese stuff we couldn't make it work. Exceptional host

Nothing really. It was perhaps a little bit pricey, but then this is Beijing.

The hotel was small, which made it very cosy. The furniture and decorations were a very eclectic mix. There was beer, water and juice for sale at reasonable prices. Breakfast was simple but fine. Mark was a fantastic host with very good English. Metro quite near.

Bathroom design isn't the best - is a wet room with the shower right in the middle so everything gets wet and doesn't really dry

Be aware that this is a historical building with the understandable limitations regarding the size of the bathroom, etc that go with it.

Kelly's Courtyard Hotel is a great home away from home for a visit to Beijing. John and the rest of the team were extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful and repeatedly helped me with organizational things. The hotel itself is a nice historic courtyard building in a little hutong right between two conveniently close subway stations. The courtyard itself is a lovely relaxing place not just for breakfast for to just hang out and chill or chat with the other guests- Alternatively there is also a nice quiet rooftop terrasse.

Breakfast is basic.

For an authentic experience rather than staying in an impersonal luxury hotel then this is the place for you. Mark the manager is very friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help. Location is great near two subway stations and although rooms are small they contain everything you need. This hutong is very beautiful and unique. Lots of lovely restaurants and shops within walking distance and would highly recommend staying here.

It was all perfect, even though you should not expect the privacy standard of business hotels there.

We sincerely enjoyed our stay in this little oasis with a fantastic host! The restaurant tips we received and help to organize a driver to go to the great wall were on point as well. We could even relax a bit in the court while waiting for our flight If we ever come back to Beijing it is certain where we will stay!

I was only staying one night, Mark arranged a taxi to collect me from airport and I was greeted by John who went above and beyond to make sure I made the most of my stay, providing a map, giving advice and directions and generally being happy and positive, thank you John and Mark. The hotel was unique in style, very comfortable and perfect location

This hotel feels like an oasis in Beijing, very calm and beautiful courtyard, great rooftop. Well located - around 7mins to the closest metro stop. John was very communicative and helpful.The breakfast is fairly simple, but sustaining for the start of the day. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

The location is perfect to explore the city cenre. There's a lot of stuff to see and do in walking distance. bus and metro stations are also super close. The host was so lovely and helpful! We had a great time there, definitely recommend staying there.

Mark was incredibly helpful and welcoming. As a solo traveller, he supported me sorting a great wall tour, where to eat, subway station locations and transport to the airport. The breakfast was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Such a beautiful property!
