Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. Saccharum was the perfect hotel to relax. The decoration is beautiful. Two outdoor pools, one indoor pool with amazing views. The breakfast and dinner had so many options and everything was so tasty. The bedroom was comfortable, spacious, and extremely clean. The staff was always friendly and ready to help. There was so many people staying there and still it was so silent and relaxing. Recommend this hotel 200%!.

Clearly the owners thought of every little detail. From the fresh bread in the morning, and the homemade caramel and jam, to the detailed booklet explaining far and beyond what you can do in the area and in the compound itself. We had a wonderful dinner with very nice guests, which was delicious and accompanied by great wine. The room was kept clean every day, and the pool and sauna were also clean and inviting. Top notch!

The rooms are really nice, amazing view at the ocean, very clean and modern. There have been a few issues initially but the staff was trying to present a solution to them immediately. All in all a great overall experience, we can definitely recommend it.

Savoy Calheta Beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean, is located on Calheta Beach. This 4-star hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym and access to the sea via the beach. Every night was theme night - good variety of food for veg & non veg. Breakfast was brilliant - again lots of choices.

The staff are so nice and helpful, the location is perfect, the room view is so beautiful, the pools are amazing, breakfast is so good and has lots of options, rooms are clean

Surrounded by tropical gardens, the seaside Pestana Grand Ocean Resort Hotel features the largest salt water pool on the Madeira Island. It was a beautiful location. The staff was very accommodating. I loved the half-board feature. Everything was perfect.
