Everything was lovely!!!!! . The grounds were well manicured, very clean, great staff , nice to have breakfast included in the price as well as no additional fees for cleaning services or consumption of electricity. Just a beautiful property and overall vacation. Thank you Mario and staff ♥️

An amazing little find in El Valle - perfect relaxing location where we were made to feel right at home. The hosts and owners were extremely accommodating, giving us tips about where to explore and organising excursions if we wished. The food is excellent - lots of options at breakfast, including fresh fruit, avocado, eggs and french toast. Dinner is a three course meal and they take dietary requirements into consideration. The walk to the beach is about 10 mins and is one of the best beaches we have been to so far. Would highly recommend staying here, especially as they plan to continue to upgrade and expand!

The room was very spacious and had an enormous and very cozy terrace. It was hard for us to leave 😍.

This was a last minute booking as our flight from Samana was cancelled and rebooked for the next day. We only dealt with one staff member really, while we were checking in. She was absolutely amazing! We were obviously stressed and tired from our day and she made the check-in process seamless. She also go everything set for our check-out the next morning as we were leaving at 6:00am. We has an issue with the AC in our room, we couldn't get it to work. She came over and after also not being able to get it to work she offered to move us to another room and helped us with our baggage. This all seems like basic things, but after the day we had we really appreciated it. Overall we love the warm welcoming vibe of the resort! I would love to go back and checkout the resort and area more.

The bungalow was amazing. Which we had more options of restaurants in the area bit expensive and the food was not that great. We did not eat at the property as it was expensive at 40.00 per person. The place was extremely clean although room service did clean the room. We put the notification on the door for room service and no one cleaned. Front desk staff was great. I would like to share my experience at Hacienda Cocuyo, which was truly amazing. The peaceful and serene ambiance, combined with the breathtaking natural surroundings, made it an unforgettable stay. The rooms were fantastic and comfortable, and the fresh mountain air and sea breeze were invigorating. The restaurant had a varied menu, offering both local and international basic dishes, although if you are looking for extensive local cuisine and more variety, it's just a 10-minute drive away. The locally-made breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start the day, while evenings spent by the campfire near the pool with a cocktail, wine, or local beer were magical. The staff at Hacienda were incredibly service-minded and helpful, making the whole experience even more special. I also appreciated the ECO-friendly approach of the place, with no lifts, no TV or AC in the room, pure back to basics and one with nature! Overall, I would highly recommend Hacienda Cocuyo to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and memorable vacation.

Johanna is the most accommodating, helpful, nice, respectful owner. She will help you to get everything you need. Johanna, her beautiful daughter Victoria and her staff provide a wonderful daily breakfast. They keep the grounds, the pool and the rooms clean We very much enjoyed our stay. You are one block from the maim street with lots of restaurants and bars and mini marts. The beach is one block down too.

The whole experience of our stay at the Tree House has been amazing. Of course, the first night was a bit scary as we didn't know what to expect when being in the jungle: bats, frogs, lizards 🦎 We stayed for 4 nights and it was great after all! We loved going to yoga in the morning, the home made food, all the games available in the lobby, the sense of community and all the evening entertainment from karaoke to dancing and the bonfire :) Honestly, we would very very much recommend this experience, just being in nature with no internet, listening to the sound of birds or the calm after the rain. The room was comfy, and we had a really nice view, of course bear in mind you are in the jungle, so don't expect hot showers. Other than that it's been great.
