Brilliant breakfasts. Friendly hosts made to feel welcome. And the river runs just outside the house. If I'd more time would have liked to explore more.

Excellent well-equipped spotlessly clean apartment. Ideal location for touring the borders or just sitting and admiring the views through the panoramic windows. Large terrace/lawn area is enclosed so perfect for small children (or small dogs).
The apartment was absolutely stunning. Its in the perfect location as the beach is right on the doorstep. There's loads of little paths to take and you can go on lots of different coastal walks. It's perfect if you like walking the dog or you can even do some water sports like surfing or body boarding. We didn't do that but we enjoyed watching other people do it. Felt so relaxed here.
The location was excellent it is only 8 minutes to Coldingham and 15 to St Abbs. There are loads of beautiful walks in the area. The setting was exceptional and the lodge was really well equipped even to 2 furry hot water bottles.
The window boxes and containers were lovely so was next doors garden. The deck was good as you had two aspects for sitting outside.
