We had an amazing 2 night stay with Novita and her family. They were incredibly accommodating and the fresh caught fish dinner and her many sauces were amazing!! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Bunaken, we wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed at Thalassa for 3days and loved every minute of our stay. Beautiful resort area, lush gardens, amazing food, friendly staff, wellness center, beautiful rooms etc. The owner supports the local community with a foundation raising money in the Netherlands, the money is used to support young people get a proper school and job education in the tourist sector. AMAZING!

Two lovely adjacent bungalows in front of the beach in the village with a shared porch with a dining table and relax chairs. The host Mamalis made amazing varied food, some of the best we’ve had in Indonesia. Papa Sem has a boat for snorkeling and dolphin tours. The atmosphere is calm, close to the pier and two diving schools. Communication in English is done through Stefen, who runs a nearby homestay. He is very friendly, like Mamalis and Papasem, whom you can talk to in Indonesian and through translation apps.

Accompanied by loads of laughter & language jokes, lost in translation. Ida E'verything, she can fix anything & everything. So obliging, always with a smile. Franky is highly organized ensuring guests' comfort n enjoyment of their stay. Nona, creative cook, fruits from their garden, locally sourced produce. Fresh mackerels from Manado Bay.
