A Tip if first time to Bali and not sure of prices or don't like haggling look for the fixed price shops and you will know the prices to pay on the street. Also if you are staying awhile first couple of days go to Bali Bintang supermarket you can get anything from food and alcohol there. Final tip if using taxis in bali only use Blue bird taxis as they have a genuine meter and a honest driver the darker green type meter no good and they will try to haggle with you. You should be able to get anywhere in the main area between 10000rp to 50000rp which is between $1 to $5. Work on 10000rp equals 1 dollar basically divide rupiah by 10 to get the dollar value.
