Excellent location for sightseeing in Walsingham, quiet, cosy pub. The breakfasts and dinners were first class, the homemade raspberry compote and granola with Greek yoghurt at breakfast were delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient, our room was made up daily with fresh towels, water , drinks and biscuits.

    Outstanding!

Outstanding! We spent a couple of hours wandering through the rooms and gardens. The room guides had a wealth of knowledge and we loved learning about the history. The house is renowned for its symmetry, both in its interior and exterior design. It was stunning! Tip: If you prerer a barista coffee, go to the coffee stand in the walled garden.

Location right on the Quay. Easy to access all local amenities and to get to buses to go along the coast. It was easy to walk down to the beach and also into Holkham Hall estate. The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and clean.

We were racing the Outlaw half Ironman triathlon at Holkham Hall. The location was 5 minutes drive away so excellent. It was also a 3 minute flat walk to the town centre and the harbour. The facilities were excellent. Clean and beautifully presented with chocolates and wine Beds were clean and comfortable with plenty of bed linen and towels. Hot water for showers great. Kitchen facilities were also great. Lovely view across towards the beach and coast path

Location is great - made it easy to get around on foot to visit beach/local shops/restaurants and amusements etc- or by car to visit further afield. Eg Holkham Hall and Holkham beach are nearby and well worth a visit.

The Globe is nicely situated in the leafy Georgian centre of the town. We chose Wells to stay for a brief visit, mainly to visit; Sandringham, Houghton and Holkham Halls and the property was ideally situated for this purpose. Our bedroom was clean, quiet and comfortable , both dinner and breakfast were nicely presented and enjoyable. This was our first visit to Norfolk and we found a warm welcome from the staff, this coupled with finding a very friendly town, left us with an excellent impression of the area during our all too short visit.

Excellent location for exploring the North Norfolk coastline from Hunstanton to Cromer. Holkham Hall is just a mile to the west and worth a visit. The Hotel is just right - the rooms are large enough with en-suite, good parking, and excellent selection for breakfast. The staff are very welcoming. Thoroughly recommended.

The apartment is lovely, and was equipped with everything you needed. It's in a good location close to the harbour and amenities. The walk to Holkham hall is nice with cafes on the way, and you walk back along wells beach. Also its in a good location to travel to nearby towns and other surrounding beaches. Avril was very kind and said if we needed anything just to contact her.

Fantastic location with lots of local walks nearby. The grounds around Holkham Hall are stunning and there are plenty of coastal villages and towns to visit. Wells has a lovely beach. We weren’t short of things to do even in the winter. David was a great host and very attentive; nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing (best scrambled eggs ever) and the property has everything you need. Ginnie always greeted us with a fuss and wag of her tail.
