Excellent location to visit Lydford Gorge, also the old church and cemetary next door are worthwhile visiting. Very cozy room! We extremely enjoyed being offered fresh milk for the afternoon tea upon arrival and finding a milk bottle in front of our room the next the morning. This was unique for all the places we stayed at. The restaurant offers tables inside and outside, even though strongly recommended we had not reserved a table for dinner, but it was made possible for us to eat at the restaurant. Good quality food! Worth the price.

The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel is a Grade II listed property nestled within unspoilt countryside and 5 minutes’ drive from a scenic coastal walk. Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks can both be reached in less than an hour’s drive. The property also has more than 8 acres of landscaped grounds for guests to enjoy. My family & I love The Hoops Inn. The staff are warm & welcoming & the rooms are comfortable and quiet. The food is also fabulous! We keep coming back as we're very happy staying here!

Set in the village of Broadclyst on the outskirts of Exeter, Red Lion provides a garden. Located around 7 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, the inn is also 6 km away from Westpoint Arena. Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital is 7 km from the inn. Beautiful quiet pub. Staff fantastic. Plenty of free parking. Meals, both breakfast and dinner, were delicious. Room was a good size with large shower and plenty of hot water. Would definitely come back and I recommend this pub.
