Mottistone Manor is a nearby National Trust property in the village of Mottistone with popular gardens. Within 30 minutes drive are the sailing towns of Seaview and Bembridge on the east coast, Yarmouth on the west and Ventnor and St Lawrence to the south east, all with delightful restaurants, pubs and tea rooms, many serving local seafood and other produce. A great day with all the family can be spent at the Isle of Wight Zoo. Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Osborne House, Amazon World and Carisbrooke Castle are some of the island's most popular attractions. Visit the UK's oldest theme park at Blackgang Chine. The Needles at Alum Bay offers a range of attractions and rides for all ages, from traditional Victorian games to an interactive 4D cinema experience. Travelling times are approximately one and a half to two hours from London to Lymington Ferry Port or Portsmouth Ferry Port - 30 minute ferry crossing.
