We hope to share this special place with you soon!
As a born and bred New Forest girl I have a genuine love for the area, and the people who live here!
I have enjoyed the ‘organic’ lifestyle of the surrounding forests and coasts first-hand, so this makes it a real pleasure for me to share with others!
I love my garden and this is where I like to channel my creativity, so Secret Garden Glamping is just an excuse for me to make my garden my work :)
When I am not in the garden I love to roller-skate!
Secret Garden Glamping is situated in a quiet residential area, just a 10-minute stroll from Lymington’s famous bustling High Street - yet the secret garden really feels like you are a million miles from anywhere!
Lymington offers visitors a whole host of independent boutiques, traditional pubs, bars and eateries. The Famous Saturday market has been running in the High Street weekly since the mid-thirteenth century, and still today has over 100 stalls!
South of the High Street, a cobbled path leads you to the picturesque Quay. Sit and watch the world sail by whilst tucking into fish & chips or ice-cream, or try out your sea legs with one of the boat trips that set off from here!
Home to two large marinas (and Olympic Gold medallist, Ben Ainslie), the Lymington River feeds into the Solent where yachtsmen, fisherman and thrill seekers alike share the waters for business and pleasure. If you fancy a dip, the oldest Seawater Baths in the country are open throughout the summer months!
For those preferring to stay dry, a brisk walk around the Sea Wall is sure to blow away the cobwebs (and give you a fantastic view of the Isle of Wight and Hurst Castle), or there are a number of enchanting gardens in the area to inspire you.
Perfect for day trips, the Isle of Wight is also just a stone's throw away as a 40 minute ferry ride will take you across the scenic 4 mile stretch of water.
The New Forest National Park is also just a short drive, or train journey away (one stop on the train from Lymington and you will find yourself in Brockenhurst, where you could rent bikes and explore the open forest.
New Forest attractions include; Hurst Castle, Milford-on-Sea beaches, ferry to the Isle of Wight, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard, Paultons Park and Pepper Pig World.
