Centrally located in Scottish Borders on A698 between Jedburgh and Hawick in the picuresque village of Denholm. This stunning Country Inn overlooking the village green offers quality accommodation, good food, cask ale, restaurant, bar snacks and beer garden. The Auld Cross Keys was built in 1800 as a bakehouse but later became a Coaching Inn. Rooms at The Auld Cross Keys are cozy, comfortable and traditionally furnished. Each features a smart TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and an en suite bathroom with free toiletries. Some also have pretty views. Free WiFi is also available. An ideal location for exploring the Scottish borders with an abundance of activities easily accessible such as golfing, walking, horse riding, fishing, shooting, cycling and motorbiking. Minto Golf Club is a 5-minute drive away, and Hawick can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car. The edge of Northumberland National Park is about 24 miles away. Jedburgh Abbey 10 minutes drive, Kelso races is 20 minute drive, Cheviot hills 30 minutes drive, English/Scottish border 20 drive. Only one hours driving to Edinburgh, Berwick upon Tweed, Carlisle or Newcastle
