Naturally the view is the enticing aspect of the hotel but there is so much more: the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The restaurant serves delicious food and there is nice music playing all the time which really adds to the atmosphere. There are also lots of adorable animals around, cats, dogs, sheep, goats, squirrels and birds. It is pretty much heaven on earth. There was a little problem with our room when we arrived which was quickly rectified and we received an upgrade. We only mention this because how staff deal with problems is very important. In this case, above all expectations. We are vegan and the staff cooked us homemade food specifically for us each day, and it was all delicious. They even baked a vegan cake for my wife’s birthday and it was incredible. We were so happy at this hotel and the staff made us feel very special. Already, we are dreaming of returning. It’s quite possibly the best hotel we ever stayed at.
