I felt so at home here. The hosts were so kind and made me feel very welcome. The guesthouse has a calm and peaceful atmosphere. It is in a cool and quiet neighborhood, and only 15 minutes away by subway from major Osaka attractions. All the other guests were very respectful and friendly.

Old school japanese house built 90 years ago, beautiful tatami mat traditional interior with a small bar as reception. Beautiful room, great location, very nice and friendly staff with some good english. It was nice to come back here at the end of my days exploring. Nearby to coin laundries (they also have their own washing machine for guests) an exceptional ramen restaurant and convenience stores and also a short walk to the train station and within walking distance of Osaka castle! Which i did on my first say on Osaka and it was really nice walking through the small, quiet residential streets where kimidoriya is located. After i booked out i went to the onsen they have a partnership with and it was the best onsen i used in my entire holiday. I recommend highly.

Sonik is an amazing and friendly host that you can always have a chat with. Although it is a small guesthouse it's easy to socialize with other people staying. I loved staying here. Can absolutely recommend it.

The common area (includes shower room, toilet) is very clean and neat. There is also free and great coffee provided at kitchen counter (if you are coffee lover). The bakery is very nice and cheap too. For solo traveller, the location of the guest house is wonderful (few mins walk from train station) and had many convenient stores, restaurant nearby. Highly recommended to female solo travellers! Feel very safe and at home.

I liked the layout as it allowed for socialisation. Laundry machines were very cheap and had a balcony for drying clothes, which allowed you to skip the dryer. Staff were super kind and friendly, they put on an event on the Saturday night too. Nice and quiet after 10pm too.

We ended up booking longer as it was super handy to trains, subway and tourist spots. It's great value for money and you get your own spacious room which is probably the best part. The bedding is basic but comfortable. Good facilities and the hostel has a welcoming and homely feel to it. They even have old school Playstations that you can have a go on when you want to chill out. Would highly recommend this spot.
